However if you tell your group that Steve will be using a greatsword in two hands and kicking using IUS, and Dave is going to have 2 claw attacks and kick twice using IUS, don't be surprised when George says he wants to attack with two weapons and IUS and doesn't see how it's any different then what thier doing because of some finicky statement about hands in the Bestiary, when things like the boot dagger exist.

Again I agree no 2weapons and IUS for 3 attacks at highest BAB -2.

But George's character isn't doing anything cheesier than the other 2.

Steve is swinging a greatsword and kicking for extra DPR

Dave is swinging 2 claws and kicking twice for extra DPR

Why can't George use Light Weapon, Light Offhand weapon, Kick?

Steve effectively have what amounts to 3 attacks, kick for one, greatsword effectively as 2. he has to upkeep one weapon and an AoMF.

Dave just plain has 4 attacks, 2 claws, a kick, and a headbutt (because you need a leg to balance on) dave also gets huge mileage out of an AoMF

why can't george have his 3rd attack with what amounts to a second "off hand". he has to pay to upkeep 2 weapons AND an AoMF. for less initial benefit than dave.

Steve is using the normal rules for TWF which allow a single off hand attack.

Dave is using those rules and the natural attack rules which are different. Dave could also have a bite a tail slam 2 talons and 2 wings and get all those attacks as well.

No rule allows George to make two offhand attacks at the same level. Not a single one of the otherguys gets 3 non natural attacks.

also Steve has 2 attacks not effectivly 3 he has one high damage attack sure but thats not the same as three attacks.

Edit: I dunno what or why the rest of you are arguing I just solved the problem like that.
I thought the point of the thread was the player wanting to get extra attacks from the TWF feats, and the OP wasn't sure if it was rules-legal.

I am aware. However, doing that is really dumb and the system punishes you big time for it, so stick with my advice B)

you have 2 people abusing grey areas in the rules to gain a huge power boost. that is half of your traditional table.

yes, steve and dave may be following the letter of the rules, but not the spirit. they are literally abusing them for a great gain.

i think we can fudge the rules a little so george can keep up in challenging encounters.

if we stick too hard to the RAW. you will have all sorts of balance issues.

we can simply fudge the rules and Say George took multiweapon fighting, improved multiweapon fighting, and greater multweapon fighting. taking improved unarmed strike as a prerequisite.

I'd just explain the rules to them so they understand? It's not some secret mystery or anything. You want to play? Here's a book. It's got the rules and everything.
