Cavalry Formation and Solo Tactic

Rules Questions

I plan on playing a Mounted Inquisitor and I wonder if I will be able to end my turn overlapping some square with my teammate mount if I have the Cavalry Formation feat and he don't. I would technically be in a legal situation but he wouldn't be since he don't have the feat.

Yes you will, but only if you spend a standard action to use your Tactician ability, not Solo Tactics (that's the similar Inquisitor ability) within 30 ft. of your ally. It grants your teammates all the benfits of your feat for 3 rounds + 1/2 Cav levels.

The OP is playing an inquisitor.

This would work with Solo Tactics. You can end your turn occupying the space of your ally's mount. However, he doesn't benefit from the feat, so he will have to move away by the end of his turn.

I had the same thought.

Cavalry Tactics doesn't even function if BOTH people have it. It's very poorly written.
