Character creation is a hassle as-is with my gaming group(s), but it occurred to me, in Pathfinder the rules governing adventuring (combat, diseases, falling into pits) are pretty simple- or have become so, for me. And then I read a book for Scions and it seems even more so.
So I ask the community, what is the most complex (and simulationist) system you know about/have used? And where does Pathfinder fall in relation to the other systems out there?

The most complex game as a whole system? I would say Twilight 2013 since they get into some deep details. Some of the rules are pretty simple while others was very complex. Rolemaster/spacemaster I think would come in second on the most complex.
Pathfinder I think would be more towards the middle, leaning a bit to the more complex side of the scale.
Of course what games one has experienced I am sure will effect people's opinions.

Phoenix Command, the system was so detailed that even though you only needed to make one roll to see if you hit something you had to consult at least 5 separate charts to determine, depending on facing and body position, where you hit and how much damage was caused. Then there was another couple of charts that told you in exacting detail the damage that was done to the part of the body that was hit.

The most complex I've played was GURPS 'with all the trimmings'. The GM was a fanatic for "realistic" gaming and thought this was the way to go. I managed to avoid his Phoenix Command game, fortunately. Pathfinder I'd place somewhere close to 'normal' GURPS, perhaps slightly more complex.
If you want the most 'simulationist', that would probably be Pendragon. And that's not complex at all.

Chivalry and Sorcery 2nd edition. Having said that, once the many hours of character creation is done the game is awesome.
