Synthesist summoner resistances

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

So I'm playing a Asaimar synthesist summoner and was wondering how my resistances would work? Do I still get the resist 5 when my eidolon is present?

Yes. If your eidolon gains any of the same resistances, they do not stack; you take the best of the two.

That is what I figured but is it expressly stated anywhere in a book or from a ember of pazio's staff. My DM wanting an "official answer".

There's nothing here to clarify officially. You use YOUR stats except where expressly stated (namely physical ability scores).
