This wasn't meant to be a final draft of anything, just kicking out ideas.

The +1d6/3 levels of either fire or electricity damage is only supposed to be x number of uses per day, or x rounds of usage per day, not every attack or useable as often as a backstab...

The intimidate thing was basicly for flavor. It was to show that in nature, this particular type of druid is seen as a predator, not a friend. So, instead of trying to make animals like him, he's giving off a predator vibe. They leave him alone now out of fear, then becasue he seems friendly.

The limited shapeshift denys the elemental, magical beast or plant forms. I had thought of having them benefit from the animal companion stats for thier animal form instead of summoning a companion...

Can you think of any other ideas that fit the theme?
Thanks for the feedback!

I have no idea what sort of class this was in EQII, so I'm going solely on the established levels of balance in pathfinder (aka: I'm comparing it to a regular druid).

Kryzbyn wrote:

Instead of spontaneous summon, they can spontaneously swap out for a spell with the electricity or fire type of the elvel they can cast.

Ok, ignoring entirely the effectiveness of summons vs. blasts, you've replaced one spontenous spell per level with 2+ at every level. Granted, blasting isn't particularly powerful in the standard party. This is still likely to get out of control as additional splat books open up more options. This is a boost, and a scaling one at that. I recommend swapping it to be able to spontaneously cast domain spells. It's much more manageable that way. Still, it's a boost, because options are almost always better than not-options.

Kryzbyn wrote:

Ageless predator: Wildshape is limited to one predatory animal, increasing in size as normal, but no plant or elemental wildshape.

Set plainly, this ability only limits the versatility of wild shape. Caster-focused druids will still pick a bird, and melees will still pick a tiger. It's weaker than the standard druid, though.

Kryzbyn wrote:

Natures boon: can pick 2 domains from either weather, air, or fire domains (or others that make sense)

You lose the ability to even choose an animal companion and instead take two domains from a list of half the length? This is a boost, though limited.

Kryzbyn wrote:

Nature's fury: for x minutes/day can imbue her melee attacks with either fire or electricity damage 1d6/3 levels. replaces resist nature's lure @ 4th level.

I'm sorry, what? Not only is this a boost, but it's stupidly powerful. It's not game breaking, but it completely defies the established strength of a druid: you shouldn't be able to outclass a pure fighting character. +1-6d6 elemental damage for every combat with no situational drawbacks (like sneak attack) other than energy resistance/immunity? But you can change the energy type, so it's less of an issue than most blasters deal with. A very powerful boost.

Wild Empathy is a way for druids/rangers ("I love nature!") to get around fighting creatures that are both at one with their environments and acting within their nature. For the most part it's an RP tool that aids in the suspension of disbelief. This, though, I don't really get. I don't see it as a boost or penalty because I can't see any application of it in a game.

Encounters with these two types of energy are going to be far more common than poison, though they may be far less destructive. A boost.

So what you've done is taken the druid, chopped out a few things that were "meh" or not specialized enough, and cranked it up to 11? It's pretty unbalanced from where I'm sitting. I don't see a druid not taking this option unless unhindered wild shape was a great appeal or fire/electricity was a serious turnoff.
Ok, let's break it down, shall we? I'm thinking:
Add stealth to the class skills, and replace diplomacy with intimidate.
Instead of spontaneous summon, they can spontaneously swap out for a spell with the electricity or fire type of the elvel they can cast.
Ageless predator: Wildshape is limited to one predatory animal, increasing in size as normal, but no plant or elemental wildshape.
Natures boon: can pick 2 domains from either weather, air, or fire domains (or others that make sense)
Nature's fury: for x minutes/day can imbue her melee attacks with either fire or electricity damage 1d6/3 levels. replaces resist nature's lure @ 4th level.
