Oddly enough, it's never my own avatar that's the problem, it's other peoples. I'll be like 'why is he talking like that' and then realize it's not who I thought it was.

I do this with your avatar (always assume its you first,) and the drunken satyr always confuses me. Cartigan is similar, with a few people also using it.

I haven't noticed anyone else use my avatar.

Oh yeah, I love when me, Trinam, and Darkholme end up talking to each other. Brian and Kirth get me sometimes. Cartigan not so much, he's pretty unique. There are others, but the names don't come to me right now.

Honestly, the only poster I know who uses the same avatar I do is Werecorpse, and it definitely causes me to do a doubletake and think about whether or not I posted a comment, but I don't get upset about it at all.

On various forums, I usually prefer to use custom avatars, and use artwork I actually commissioned for the purpose. Thus nobody is going to probably have the same image as me.

But nooooo, Paizo won't let us use custom avatars. Even when I have a few doodles of the Laughing Fiend I could use (for my most used Alt). Bah! ;)

My screenname is one of my star PCs. People love him because of the cockney accent I give him. Has the demeanor of a slimy puppy.

I've changed from this image of Grau Soldado just recently. For some reason I couldnt shake the feeling that the sad face was giving people the wrong kind of first impression... But this picture is more in line with his charisma score anyway...

Custom avatars would be nice I suppose, but I like things as is. God forbid we have to deal with obnoxious signatures too.

And as for me, I tend to just assume anyone with a Cayden avatar is TriOmegaZero until proven otherwise. :P
