Even if this incident makes them very unhappy, it will take time to properly research an alternative and then migrate all the data and functionality to a new host. But I wouldn't expect them to formally announce such a move until it was set in stone.

It has been my experience that unless there is a pressing reason to do so, people don't add to their workload by investigating past issues once they have seemingly been resolved.

Our current plans include revamping the entire link set-up to try to avoid a number of problems on the site (some of which predate this disaster), and to make sure we can communicate with patrons if Subhub ever goes down again. We also absolutely are looking at other options, since we never, ever want to have to deal with this again.

We are also, however, in communication with Subhub to see what they have done to make sure this never happens again. So while our first priority is to make sure we get the site up and working now, we don't consider this long-term question resolved just yet.

Hang in there!

Well i took the plunge & got a Quarterly Super Genius Pass.

Well, I don't know anything about the outage, but I do know that some of the encounters on level 18 are fantastic.

I'm still smashing my head over and over trying to get the right links to appear. It's damn frustrating.

I'm very sorry for your frustration. No global change of links is possible (we checked), and there are thousands of links we have to change over. We are working on it, and it's a priority, but it's going to take time.

Of course all new links are put in correctly from the get-go, so you should at least be able to enjoy Monte Cook's Tomb-World of Alak-Ammur, our current adventure.

Did you happen to look into that Xenu software that I recommended? it could find all your bad/dead links and help you replace them quickly. Heck if you need a hand getting/generating a report I can give provide it to you in 10minutes.
