Can a sorcerer cast orisons if he knows them?

Rules Questions

A sorcerer obtains a Cracked Orange Prism (Ioun Stone) with the orison Spark.
When worn it adds the orison to his spells known.
Can he use his sorcerer spell slots to cast the orison?

Spark is also a sorcerer/wizard cantrip. So, it probably still works.

Nothing in the description of that ioun stone states that it is class specific or arcane/divine specific (like scrolls) so in case of spark it should work as a bonus spell known/prepared. Actually I can't say for sure if the spell even has to be on the character's spell list to be used.

Wearer adds one cantrip or orison (determined when the stone is created) to his list of spells known or spells prepared is that it is saying under that link and by what it is saying there even if it were a cleric or druid only 0 level spell so long as he has that ioun stone he is able to cast it since it is added to his list of spells known and a sorceror can cast all of his 0th level spells known

So, assuming it works. Does it qualify me for feats such as Glorious Heat which has the prerequisite "Ability to cast divine spells"?

No. It adds one cantrip OR orison to your spells known, and a sorcerer only knows cantrips, which are not divine.

No. It adds one cantrip OR orison to your spells known, and a sorcerer only knows cantrips, which are not divine.

Which according to the description is "determined when the stone is created". At creation it was decided that it is an orison.

Well as you can not cast Orisons you can not add one. So a divine stone is useless to you.

If that's the case, a sorcerer can't use it, but a divine caster could. It would not give a sorcerer the ability to cast divine spells, either. Give it to your cleric and look for some other loophole. ;)

I think it means the spell is chosen at creation. It would then be cast as either a arcane or divine spell depending upon what the caster is.

But if it means it is created as arcane or divine then your arcane caster is sol.
