Thank you. We certainly hope so.

In related news, we're just waiting for the Paizo Uploader to be finished with maintenance, so that I can upload the PDF for sale here.

In the meantime, it's currently available here: http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?cPath=&products_id=93920

Will the preorder for the print also be possible on Paizo?

If I may ask, what was the design logic in deviating from some of the Pathfinder 'standards?' +1 to attributes, 3+int skill points per level, the skirmish bonus damage scaling?

Also, I have only skimmed the book, but there is a bit of copy pasta in the stats of the sub races and in the feats. Needs errata.

So, is there a revised rough estimate for Warlords of the Apocalypse?

I don't have the book, but variety, perhaps? I don't think anything about an RPG should be set in stone, least of rules for creating monsters. That would actually be one of my biggest complaints about Pathfinder, it is in some ways far too rigid / overly codified.

Variety I'm all for. I waited for the book to come out and bought it as soon as I could because I love goblins and all things Goblin. When the variety appears to be in all ways inferior to the standard, that's when I wonder why. There is a goblin version of the 3.5 scout, but the skirmish bonus ends at 7d6. I don't see a boost elsewhere, and since the Scout is a Rogue sub class, why not keep the full bonus damage progression? I'm not dogging the variety, I'm questioning why the reverse creep. I'm 100% willing to admit I missed a boost to the class that balances that out, but I don't see what it is. Who better to ask than the developer/writer?

The odd number skills, I'm OK with, the odd number Stats, I question. There's a reason the even number boost is there.

Again, I'm looking for clarification, that's all. I have some home brew races that I made cuts from PF standards, but I know where the balance comes in (i.e. natural attacks).

I'll direct Jason to this post when he gets in the office later tonight. I just made the pretty pictures :)

Thanks!

No, we only do the print pre-order through our own site.

Hello All! @ThatWeirdGeckoGuy - We made some bold choices with the construction of the races and classes presented in the Dread Codex: Goblin book. By far the standards for the basic classes have been established throughout the core books - and are constantly evolving with each new supplement released. While deciding the stat bonuses for our new goblin offshoots we took into consideration the suggested favored classes that we selected for the sub races. The striker class makes use of many different static bonuses, powerful maneuvers and other combat ability's - perhaps a look at the artful dodge feat presented in chapter 4 will provide a powerful boost to the class. Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the reply. Like I said, I'm not sure the striker is underpowered, I was just wondering why the reduction. Maybe I'll hvw to build one and see how it stacks up. Thanks!
