Expeditious Search Feat: Master in Perception?

Skills, Feats, Equipment & Spells

Maybe I missed it, but how can one qualify for the Expeditious Search feat, that is, get Master level perception?

Only via class. Some classes gain higher proficiency levels in perception at certain levels. I think this includes only Fighter, Rogue and Ranger.

If you are not one of those classes, you can't get this feat.

At which point it should be a class feat not a general one.

Thanks! I had trouble figuring out what classes could get it.

Not having Master perception makes it impossible to identify some high level traps, which seems like a bit of an issue.

Yeah, especially if you multiclass to rogue specifically to deal with traps. Unless your starting class was fighter or ranger, you're out of luck on some high level hazards.
