Oracle support in new material

So I picked up Ultimate Combat and Inner Sea Magic yesterday. Really liked them...but I noticed out of all the new spells, all the spell casting classes got some spells...except the oracle. Deliberate omission or mistake?

Oracles pick from the Cleric list. So, any new Cleric spell is also an Oracle spell.

As the above posted, Oracles get stuff from the Cleric Spell list.

Granted, I do feel that the oracle is getting not very much attention, but it's all good.

Thanks. Never really read the oracle...in my game I allow most anything and after browsing my books...the guy playing an oracle whined that there were no new spells...clearly I either need to babysit his characters (not going to happen) or leave him to figure this out himself. As an aside...if they use cleric spells...wouldn't it make sense to change the lists to Cleric/Oracle similar to Sorcerer/Wizard?

There is very little in UC that is worthwhile for an Oracle in terms of spells. Over half the new clerical spells are the "Communal" ones. Oracles don't have enough known spells to waste on spells of limited versatility.

Oracles have lots already

by far my favourite class

Oracles need more mysteries. While I won't say that there should be a mystery for every clerical domain, there definitely needs to be more choices : beauty, love, freedom, etc. Nature could eaily have been split unto multiple mysteries and it really needs an animal companion option other than a mount.

True. I wouldn't mind if they had a feat or ACF that allowed people to use other mysteries. I know that I would pick it up, since there are some that are really good in that regard.

They are great and i havent found a weakness. remind me of favoured soul which was my fav 3.5 class By defintion they are full of fluff and backstory, and roleplay

with awesome crunch to add

Heavens is my favourite, thus far. Lots supernatural ability so no issues with conc checks. Attack a good range of saves.
take a trait to ensure UMD is always a class skill

my PFS oracle is 6th level, and their appears nothing see cant co-operate well in. She even hit AC 35 in her last mod (well buffed) and the GM was almost in tears when his monster with +15 to hit, rolled a 19 and missed!!

because mysteries are so excellent, the only danger is that you run out of choices for your level

If i was really greedy id asked that you could pick 2 good saves out of the 3 dependent on oracle-choice.

my only complaint for Oracles is that I would have preferred to have more Curse options.

Throw us 3 or 4 more curses and they're good to go.

There's a 3PP product that has extra Oracle curses. I've also come up with a few myself--I just never have enough chance to playtest them.
