Aww, sad to see you pull out. Was fun to play with you Gaius, even though my character absolutely didn't like your's, I thought you made for great RP. Hope to see you again!

Wait, was that directed at me? I'm not withdrawing from the running. I wholeheartedly want to be in this game. I'm just saying, if I DONT get picked, I think it would be awesome if Gaius the NPC runs off on his own and gets annihilated, hehe. :-)

"For the last time, Gaius: I am not a singer. I tell stories, not croon songs. If you remember, I wrote one about you: The Mirror's Curse. Yes, remember, the main character - you - was enchanted by the view he saw in a mirror and spent his entire life gazing at reflection of himself; his life, friends and family completely ignored. Then, he started growing old, gray and decayed. In a fit of anger, he broke the mirror, breaking the curse of the mirror and, tragically, his heart, as he lost his only companion." Yenrry stops and bows his head. "It was met with mixed reviews as the main character was 'so unbelievably dull and self-absorbed.'"

Thank you Gaius for creating such a wonderful character to banter with.

Ah, my apologies. I often get my time-wasting artistic activities confused. Still, a tale about me getting old would be quite a comedy, though probably better in song, in truth. And that reminds me...

Gaius takes the mirror out of his pack and examines his hair.

I thought the winds of jealously in here might have blown my hair out of place, but it appears to still be quite flawless. That's a relief.

Just quoting this so it doesn't get skipped over. I don't want to be discounted on a technicality.

Jel stares delightedly back and forth between Yenrry and Gaius.

Did he really just fix his hair?

"Can you stop preening yourself and sit down?" Demitri says shaking his head in shame at the self-centered lout.

Oh, my appologies then! I must have misread something in your post I guess :( Perhaps read "I request that I don't get chosen" or something (missing the if... which pretty much changes the context drastically). Sorry for the confusion, I hope DM Patcher didn't got thrown off by my statement here.

All right, judgement hour cometh. I assure you, this decision has not been easy to make - in fact, it has been so exasperating that I am extending it from 5 to 6 slots.

Without further ado!

michaelane - Chavakala, Human Oracle;
GM_ToddPBC - Yenrry Clockweaver, Halfling Bard;
Dreaming Warforged - Sister Milena Tag, Human Monk;
Mark Sweetman - Gethric Orted, Halfling Rogue;
Quatar - Vesera Arkona, Half-Elf Witch?;
Tilnar - Vyshiel Invisus, Half-Elf Wizard.

Please report to the OOC thread.

I apologise to those of you who didn't make it. I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Congrats to all those chosen! I'll probably follow along the game thread. Thanks for the consideration DM!

You're welcome.

Do you still want them to find your character's corpse, Gaius?

Second Curse of the Crimson Throne game I failed to get into. Better luck the 3rd time I suppose. :(

Well, don't be gratuitous about it, but if it fits into the story, by all means. :-)

I know it must have been a tough call selecting the players. I tried to judge myself to see who'd I let in, and I stopped counting at 10.
Sorry to all that didn't make it, and I hope to see you maybe in other games

Can we mutilate your dead corpse then, or cut it into pieces as emergency rations for rainy nights?

What do you mean, we're not playing an evil game? *gasp*

Gaius would probably be ok with that, especially if there was a chance that Vyshael might choke to death. :-)

Good choices Patcher.

Have fun.

Good luck, guys, guess Jel will have to take down Lamm another time.

You know, there's a lot of great characters left here. Are any of you guys willing to DM another group for this and just pick more characters from here? If I had the time/DMing PBP experience I would totally do it, hehe.

Silver Crusade

Congratulations to everyone! The Roleplay, albeit short, was quite enjoyable.

Grats everyone, you're all in capable hands; Patcher's an awesome DM.

Silver Crusade

Ah well, good luck...got in the first one, not the second, such is death of a character. Have fun.
