d20pfsrd question

Product Discussion

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I did not know where to post this.

Does anyone know what I need to do if I find something on the d20pfsrd website that appears to directly contradict both what is in Paizo's PRD and what Paizo employee's have said about it?

Notably, I am talking about d20pfsrd's section on magic item creation. I noticed this because someone on the forums directly copied from the d20pfsrd's section on magic item creation. When I compared that to what has been said by SKR in a different thread about roughly the same topic and to what is in Paizo's PRD, they both said the same thing and contradicted the d20pfsrd.

So as someone that frequently uses the d20pfsrd (better organization than the PRD and usually the same content), I would like it to be as accurate as possible.

I'm not sure what to do,but either the SRD is wrong or SKR misspoke.If the SRD is wrong,just edit it to reflect that.

Post some specifics and we'll check things out to see where the problem lies.

We over at d20pfsrd try our best to compile rules changes and clarifications as we can find them sprinkled around this forum and elsewhere. If you find what looks like a contradiction, please feel free to contact us at the contact links provided on the site. You can also post here, we try to keep a close eye as I said. Please be as specific as possible to help us try and address your question as quickly as we can!

Thanks

Yes please give us more specifics so we can investigate if it is in fact wrong, and if so, how it got that way as well as fixing it.

So the section I saw quoted is the following (emphasis mine):

]<snip>

Setting the Caster Level

From Magic Item Descriptions (Caster Level): For potions, scrolls, and wands, the creator can set the caster level of an item at any number high enough to cast the stored spell but not higher than her own caster level. For other magic items, the caster level is determined by the item itself. In this case, the creator's caster level must be as high as the item's caster level (and prerequisites may effectively put a higher minimum on the creator's level).
<snip>

Now I cannot find anything in the PRD that supports the section i emphasized. Additionally, the following thread, [url=http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/pathfinder/pathfinderRPG/rules/magicItemCreationAndCasterLevel&page=1#3]here, has SKR in it several times saying basically the exact opposite of that section. If you've seen something somewhere else that shows I am wrong, then please show me and I will admit it.

Also, what is the best way to let you guys know if I, or anyone else, for that matter, catch something else? Do I post in this message board section where my topic has ended up? Do I email you guys? Do I run around outside screaming at the top of my lungs in the vain hope that one of you is near where I live or work? (Note: that last one is not going to happen, no matter how much you beg. Also I assume it would not actually work.)
