I played a season 0 scenario where the main mission failed due to someone completed their faction mission.

It seems like that if you play that faction then their is absolute no way to get both PA points for the scenario.

Is this correct?

I've played or GMed all the season 0 adventures and never encountered this problem. Do you remember which adventure you're talking about?

Indeed, specifics would be helpful. Just use spoiler tags. :)

The Exchange 5/5

When this happens it is always accidental. They've never written a PFS scenario just to screw players out of PAs. When the GM encounters an issue where a player believes the missions are in conflict, s/he should clarify the mission goal out-of-character. There's one Season 1 scenario, The Infernal Vault, where the problem Catprog described does occur. It hasn't been fixed and likely will never get fixed, so it is up to individual GMs to edit the mission and preempt the conflict.

Taldor mission is too get the building for Taldor

Society:

Get the building for a new lodge

I am osirion so did not actually see the mission

The Exchange 5/5

The GM needs to re-read the scenario, the gentleman the deed was signed over to (if the player followed instructions) is a member of the Society with Taldan sympathies. Both missions were accomplished.

Spoiler:
This is covered in the conclusion section of the scenario.

"Unless convinced otherwise (as part of the Taldor faction mission) he retains ownership of the property but wills the land to whatever Venture-Captain is running the lodge at the time of his death"

The success for Taldor as written is to have the deed signed over to a Taldan Venture Captain.

The society wants a lodge. The Taldor faction wants that lodge to be owned by a member of the Taldor faction. No conflict here.
