Help finish my Eidolon

Advice

I'll be starting a 13th level Gnome Summoner soon. And I'm not sure how to spend the last 6 of my 17 evolution points, or what feat to get.
I patterned the Eidolon after a giant squirrel. It's designed to get one big hit with its bite every turn. Also, it will be the primary front-liner.

Feats: Combat Reflexes, Iron Will, Power Attack, Toughness, One more.
Skills: Acrobatics, Climb, Perception, Stealth, 10 ranks each.

Ability Increases: +1 Str, +1 Con.

The summoner's stats:
Str 8, Dex 14, Con 18, Int 12, Wis 10, Cha 28
Feats: Augment Summoning, Craft Rod, Craft Wondrous Item, Expanded Arcana, Improved Initiative, Iron Will, Spell Focus (Conjuration).
Skills: Fly 10 ranks, Handle Animal 1 rank, Knowledge (Arcana) 1 rank, Knowledge (Planes) 1 rank, Linguistics 3 ranks, Spellcraft 13 ranks, Use Magic Device 10 ranks.
Alternate Racial Abilities: Academecian, Gift of Tounges, Pyromaniac
Gear: Headband of Cha +6, +2 Con Ioun Stone, LOTS of Lesser Metamagic Rods, various minor items.
Spell List:
0-Detect Magic, Guidance, Mage Hand, Message, Prestidigitation, Read Magic
1-Enlarge Person, Grease, Mage Armor, Protection From Evil, Reduce Person, Shield
2-Barkskin (gained with Expanded Arcana), Lesser Evolution Surge, Glitterdust, Haste, Invisibility, Slow
3-Black Tentacles, Dimension Door, Evolution Surge, Heroism, Spiked Pit
4-Baleful Polymorph, Greater Evolution Surge, Overland Flight, Wall of Stone
5-Plane Shift, Greater Teleport

Other members of the party
Sword & Shield (Not 2WF) Paladin
Healer Cleric
Archer Ranger
Support Bard
Fighter/Druid/Sorcerer (Changes between the 3 depending on in-game triggers)

Whoops, slight miscalculation. The Eidolon's Dex should be 15, not 17.
And the Reach evolution only costs 1 point. And Prestidigitation should be Open/Close.

Also, these are the evolutions that look the most useful/amusing to me:
Climb - 1pt
Improved Damage (Bite) - 1 pt
Tail - 1pt
Energy Atack (Electricity, Bite) - 2pts
Increased Dex - 2pts, can be taken up to 3 times
Rend - 2pts
Fast Healing 1 - 4pts

I'm seriously looking at the Improved Natural Attack (Bite) feat.
I can also drop the Poison evolution pretty easily.

For your last feat, consider Furious Focus from the APG. It negates the Power Attack penalty for the first attack a round.

According to the book, Furious Focus only works while two-handing a weapon.

Suggestions for your evolution points:

1pt Claws (legs) [you now have 5 natural attacks and good damage output]
1pt Skilled (Stealth) [you'll now actually be able to stealth reliably with your large eidolon]
2pt 2x improved natural armor [+4 AC never hurt a frontline tank]
2pt Increased DEX [An additional AoO per round helps with your massive threatened area, +1 reflex is nice with evasion, and +1 AC is always good]

I'd also craft him a +2 DEX Ioun stone when you have the money. Or just wait until you can add +6 DEX to his belt. Or both, and repurpose the stone when you upgrade the belt. In fact, I might have just made the belt STR and DEX first, that way instead of maximizing his ability to take hits he's maximizing his ability to avoid them [and he has a LOT of AoOs]. CON helps eidolons less anyway, thanks to their low HD (same with Toughness, which I'd suggest replacing).

To make the Eidolon even more powerful, you can also switch your race over to Half-Elf. Obviously only good advice if you don't have role playing reasons for choosing a gnome. The Half-Elf's alternate favored class bonus could have you an additional +3 evolution points at this level, which could give you another +2 DEX and a swim speed, for example.

Ah, my bad. I have only seen it in action once and never really looked into it. I'm more of a 2-weapon guy anyways.

Perchance Improved Natural Armour or Improved Natural Attack (the feat) from the Bestiaries might be good if you want to boost it's combat more (assuming I haven't misremembered MORE feats.) Or if you want another route, Skill Focus (Perception) and take the Skilled (Perception) evo. Squirrels notice things a lot, right?

After thinking about it some more, and considering the advice given so far...

Why exactly aren't you taking claws? Do you have to tone it down for the rest of the party?

Two reasons.

1) I don't like the idea of claws on only one set of legs. Yes, it's RAW, but I like to think that's what the Rend evolution is for.

2) I don't HAVE to tone it down, but I am going to since the rest of the party is pretty un-optimized.
