I guess I should point out that the new favorites feature will probably over time reduce the number of "+1" posts.

It's an awesome feature Gary. Thanks for bringing it to us.

Witch kielbasa? There is so much of them.

If having to pick I would actualy save mayo for cheese and add ketchup to kielbasa, generally. But if given option I would put both mayo and ketchup.

A new sausage-based archetype for the Witch? Or merely a new form of the Cook People hex? :)

Oh great and powerful PMG, how possible is it to have the list of favoriting peeps show in a floating popup so it doesn't navigate away from the post? Maybe with a link at the top of the popup to view the post in the manner it does now?

So now we see the PMG's motivation for treating this thread so seriously... it was perfect timing for the release of this feature.

Maybe... too perfect.

I think the OP is the PMG's sockpuppet. I'd better report this to... oh right.

I just 'favorited' everyone on this page because you're all funny and I am a whore.

It would've been easier to say '+1', and I would've been able to look at myself in the mirror afterwards....

The fact is, most of us do police ourselves on these boards, as we do elsewhere.

Your (the OP) problem is not that the people here do not police themselves, but the fact that you want YOUR beliefs enforced upon the rest of the collective.

The mere idea that WE should police ourselves to YOUR taste, is completely ridiciolous.

Sure, you might think certain posts are worthless, and many times many of us will agree with you. But for every one of those times I'll guarantee you there are one or more people who don't.

Once you accept that, you'll see I'm right and you are wrong.

(forgive me if this has already been mentioned, but while I do disagree with the OP in principle, I just couldn't be bothered to read all the replies ;) )

If we police ourselves to stop frivolous posting, are we officially 'fun police'... or merely 'special constables' in the fun police..? :)

Man. If we didn't police ourselves, this place would be a hellhole.

OP, you're impersonating an officer!

Nothing more to see, move along, folks.

SPOON!

Read the first page of this thread and saw how it was going so skipped to the end.

Question: What the hell is a FAWTLY thread? What is FAWTLY and why don't I have one?

Some guy created a thread objecting to how long threads are. So Paizonians being Paizonians, it quickly turned into the mother of all threads. It grew so long that it had to be broken into part 2,3 and so on, otherwise it drags down the servers kicking, lagging, and screaming.

This is the original forums are way too long thread.

Fawtl was not, however, the first post to break the forums by getting too long, I believe that was first achieved on Heathansson's (aka Spanky the Leprechaun) PBP.

Hops in *drops pellets* hops out.

Send them a personal note/email/text. There are alternatives.

And you can scroll past the posts that have no interest for you. There are alternatives.

For now, you want short posts to not be posted. What will be next on your list of things not to be posted? Sorry, but this forum is for a wild variety of people (some of whom express themselves differently), not just you.

Motion is out of order. Read the damn bylaws - no thread may be moved to the Off-Topic section until and unless Aberzombie (including any of his aliases) has responded to it.

Motion to censor Studpuffin for improper meeting procedure.

Sorry, been busy.

Mmmmm......brainnnnnnnsssssss

Edit: And for the reocrd, the OP can kiss my skinny, decaying ass. I'll make my posts as short/long, and/or meaningless as I'd like to.

Hehe, the OP is probably none too pleased with the proliferation of "dot" posts that I'm seeing in these parts now.

Dot! lol.

Oh and yes, please add me to the list of "whatev"s in regard to the OP.

No, that's the "no fun police'.

I'm in the Fun Police. The laws of humour WILL be enforced. People not having fun will be laughing gassed.

The problem I have is with dot posts is that I'm on the net so long that I can't write a dot without adding com.com

It's really hard sometimes.com
