Hi guys,

Simple question (I think.) If a ranger with 2 weapon fighting goes up to level 6 and now has a bab of +6/+1, does that mean he now has 3 attacks in a full round? Or just that his two normal attacks get +6 on the first attack and a +1 on the second attack in a full round?

Cheers

You got 3 attacks, and if you got a light weapon in your off hand this is what ou've got :

Three attacks : +4/+4/-1

With Improved Two-weapon fighting you can have 4 attacks :

+4/+4/-1/-1

He would have three attacks:

1 at +4 with his main weapon (+6 base -2 for two-weapon fighting)
1 at -1 with his main weapon (+1 base -2 for two-weapon fighting)
1 at +4 with his off-hand weapon (+6 base -2 for two-weapon fighting)

If you get Improved Two-Weapon Fighting you'd get another attack with the off-hand weapon at -1.
