Will we see a return to nation based companions?

With the core races and the faith based companions nearing completion does the above seem likely? The expansion of the number of factions for society organised play will hopefully lead to at least a few.

We'll probably return to doing a few nation-based Player's Companions eventually... but the new factions for org play aren't necessarily linked to nations. We've pretty much covered that theme with the 5 currently in play, in fact.

For what it's worth, with so many of the Society Scenarios set in Absalom, and so much AP and module material set in Varisia I think both those regions could do with a Player Companion. That's just me, though.

Well as long as you haven't given up on the idea I can wait. Sorry for being confused about the new society factions but it's not something I keep close tabs on.

they have an older chronicles book about absalom (the guide to absalom) and i believe they are updating it in the pathfinder's field guide (i might be mistaken but i'm pretty sure i read it in the product description)

The people want a Galt companion. Nay, they DEMAND one ! or barring that, a full blown AP !

Is it wise to turn down their rightful expectations ?

I read somewhere that it was announced at Paizocon that the Player Companion line is moving to a monthly release schedule sometime next year. Hopefully that will create enough room for a few nation books.
