I dismiss any 'taco' made by a Taco Bell in New England. At least the ones in Texas were shamed enough to put out a halfway-decent product due to competition. The ones in NE don't even try. And they share buildings with KFC. That's just wrong.
Ah yes Tricon, sorry about that. It seemed like such a good idea at the time.

This state ain't big enough for...oh, wait. It is. Carry on.

I find it hilarious that for whatever reason the NE just does not have nearly the variety of fast food chains that the rest of the US has. If anything I think it to be a good thing, but certainly strange.
A lot of towns have Historical Commissions that rule the zoning boards with an iron fist. Cape Cod has a lot of restaurants, but only like three Mickey D's, two BKs and two Wendys among its dozen or so towns (most of those in Hyannis-our 'big' city). Oh and 1 1/2 KFCS and 1/2 a Taco Bell. Heck, the Cape Cod Commission even kept Walmart out for many a moon until all the small department stores went out of business.
Not that I'm b#%#@ing. Fast food is teh suxxors.

I LOVE cape cod, yea im one of those annoying tourists in the summer and fall, although I have been vacationing there for 26 years so I'd like to think im not quite as bad as the rest :P
I'll never dis tourists. They are the fuel of our economy I just hate the traffic and the daytrippers that treat the place and people like they are disposable. Were not NPCs guys, seriously =P

Lol.
But man if some dude walked up to you, rolled a d20, and said "diplomacy 1d20+8" you'd be like "DUDE! Welcome to <place you live>, brother!"

Considering I'm usually trying to sell him something, I usually start off the encounter in friendly mode =P

What town/shop do you work in? Ill come buy something this summer lol
Beach Plum Bakery. Main spot in Cataumet right next to the Courtyard restaurant on rte 28a. Either there or our coffees op in the Falmouth Hospital. We make kick ass coffee and baked goods (also breakfast sandwiches). But no tacos

No, the real shame is that the NE doesn't have decent Mexican food, period. Like Patrick Curtin said, Texan Taco Bells have to put in some effort naturally.
I'm a Californian living in NJ now. I once asked for a tostada. The waiter replied, "Ranch or Italian?"
New York is NOT a culinary Mecca.
