Are there any good Pathfinder (or other fantasy rpg) counters available for sale? I would like to try them in my game as opposed to miniatures...but I can't find any I like so far.

Have you checked out the Wizards game tokens they are selling now in place of the D&D minis?

I know there are several sources of paper "miniatures" that you can use. Some people just do google searches for material and print the results on paper, cut them out and glue them to nickels or washers.

Where do you get the Wizards game tokens?

Here are some downloadable ones. I don't use them so I don't have any ready links. I just did some googling on "D&D game tokens."

Seen the ones from Dark Platypus Games? They're nice-looking.

I've got a bunch of the cardstock counters Fiery Dragon put out for 3.0/.5. They did one set for the Summon Monster/Nature's Ally spells that is really useful, but the majority of the counters they did back then were monsters from their own 3rd Party monster books. Still, lots of good stuff to use as proxies if you don't have the minis you need.

If you want to save money and have some time to kill or you just want one or two specific monsters, you can make your own on the cheap by finding images online, scaling them to size and then printing and cutting them out. Somebody who posts around here, had some really nice homemade counters they made with glass pips.
