Retiring Scenarios

Are there guidelines or rules somewhere for retiring scenarios? I was thinking about purchasing some of the scenarios from season 0, but didn't want to have them and not be able to use them officially for PFS.

PFS Scenarios

See the link. There are nine scenarios that have been designated "Retired". Any future retirements will be announced months in advance (there aren't any currently). Everything else is fair game.

They are also in the process of converting some, or maybe all, of the remaining season zero scenarios that have not been retired from 3.5 to PRPG rules. One of those, Mists of Mwangi, has already been done. So if you want the season zero scenarios, you may want to wait and get the updated versions whenever they are released, especially since many of them only give one PA rather than the now standard two.

The converted Mists of Mwangi still only has 1 PA for each faction.

However, you may want to look at yesterday's blog on Prestige & Fame...

Well that is too bad. I had thought that one of the main reasons that some of the season zero stuff was being updated was to fix the one PA problem.

As, I am sure many do, I am hoping that Season 0 scenarios will fall under the "Get a Prestige Point for completing the Pathfinder Society mission" rules.

Even more, I could hope that it is retroactive....

I would assume the conversion for Season 0 faction missions would go something like: "Add X to the DC of the skill check required for the existing mission. Award 1 AP for the completion of the mission." Sounds easy to me, but I guess we'll wait and see. :D
