Haunted Oracle and Haunts - How can I make this fun?

One of my players is playing an oracle with the haunted curse and I'm looking for ideas on how his curse could interact with haunts (or ghosts or the like). The character is a former ship medic and tengu who disguises himself as a plague doctor (with one of those long-beaked masks) with the mystery of waves.

I'm wondering if there's some cool ideas for how his haunted curse and various haunts or events could interact. For example: Contacting the dead sailors that haunt him be with a spirit planchet, or having haunts leave him alone/target him alone because of his ghostly 'friends.'

This would be also interesting for me. One of my players is playing an Oracle of Flame.

Also, which stats does your player have, mine is quite low on strength which I think is odd as he wears scale armor and a shield and does not want to go into melee. He only has a couple of spell slots therefore I think he should consider going into melee. Well..

That's not a bad idea!

Mind you I'd expand that to a lot of other class builds. Some Sorcerer Bloodlines, Necromancer speciality Wizards, Clerics and Druids with the Death domain, and Witches with the right hexes.

If I was going to do it I would handle it the same way you would a wild animal. I believe that it's a -4 on all social interactions with animals unless your a Druid. In this case, no one would get a bonus vs the penalty.

Now...if I was feeling really nice I would develop a feat that would remove the penalty and allow for full normal interaction with intellegent and semi-intellegent undead.
