Nature Bond

Is there a PFS legal build that completely replaces the druid's nature bond class feature? If so, where is it found?

Not as Far as I am aware, But if you don't want a Companion you could always take an Authroized Domain as listed in the Nature's Bond discription, Also the Advanced Player Guide Gives you additonal options in Nature's Bond with certain Archetypes.

Wouldn't that be a cleric? :)

Just was trying to come up with a way to play a druid without a domain or animal companion.

The Urban Druid Archetype from the APG selects Charm, Community, Knowledge, Nobility, Protection, Repose, Rune, or Weather domains in place of an animal companion.

All other druids to my knowledge either have the regular animal companinon or the regular druid domains for their nature's bond class feature.

I imagine there may possibly be something in Ultimate Magic that may cover this (an new Druid Archetype?) Although Nature's Bond kinda seems to be one of the iconic powers that makes a Druid a Druid.

Play a summoner? :)

It's a little tounge-in-cheek, but what is your concept for a Druid that doesn't have a strong affinity for Nature? Kinda curious :)

The blight druid can get a familiar, but I'm pretty sure that's not what you're looking for either. :-)

Also the APG gives you quite a few of choices in the subdomains section.

Guess I'm trying for a divine nature type without a companion/familiar or domains.

Why don't you think a domain (from druid's list) as divine nature?

I do see it as that, I just wanting something different.

If you want to play a nature type and do not want a companion then I would recommend playing a cleric of one of the nature gods such a Gozreh or Erastil.

I am unsure why the concept of a Domain is something you do not want. They are mostly just bonus spells or limited use unique spell like powers that are added to a character that already casts spells.

You really can make anything you want from a ranger, druid, cleric, or even witch and call yourself a nature type and then RP it how you want.

Maybe play a Elemental Kin or Totem warrior Barbarian archetype from the APG. Not really a druid in name but you can play to the flavor of the more primal/elemental aspects of the class.

Try a Nature Oracle.

Or just be a ranger.

Or just refuse your domain. I don't think any DM/GM would demand that you have/use a domain.

Looking through the PG under nature bond page 50 it says: The second option is to form a close bond with an animal companion. A druid "may" begin play with any of the animals listed in the Animal Companions section beginning on page 51.

So you can choose not to start play with an animal companion and choose never to bond yourself with one in the future therefore pretty much making it non-existent.
