It really makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. I can't believe I never noticed it before...

You forgot the part where every candidate would agree on what lawful good means. Which is of course that a person be vegan and play older editions of the game, as older editions are always better.

There will be massive debates over whether the Geneva conventions apply to old goblin shopkeepers, and what to do in a situation where a troll is holding a baby hostage. Conservatives will valiantly fight liberals who want to remove Gunslingers, and liberals will complain about how we shouldn't brand Assassins as evil. Tea Party candidates will point out how liberals are sneaking in massive changes in the Grapple system, and Al Gore will protest about how auto-death from falling in lava contributes to Global Warming.

Don't forget that the Goblins with Irish blood will pissing off the Goblins with Native American blood on St. Patty's Day because the cheapest bad liquor I've seen in quantity is fire water.

That in and of itself would cause a massive protest in the Goblin Community. The drunk Goblins wouldn't care, other sober Goblins would be irritated that the Goblin image is getting smeared. The entire local population would have to check their cattle, domesticated animals, and chicken coops to make sure that no losses were incurred during the holiday. Also, the distinct possibility of a hate crime could arise from someone getting too violent with a hungover Goblin and they could be sloppy with the crime scene.

Just my two cents.

Personally, I'm wondering what the 2012 candidates plan to do about the mage/fighter gap. I worry that our national security could be damaged, since we have no wizards or sorcerers in the army.

I think the main issue on the Republican front will probably be getting rid of the changes to the cleric class, while the Democrats will try to dismiss Obama's faults by putting all the blame on the previous edition.

Usually Obama's entire speech involves the following topics which are mandatory for the current teleprompter to display.

1. I.
2. Me.
3. Previous incarnations or administrations.
4. 'now' and 'sacrifice' must be tied together.
5. Courage for the years ahead.

*Edited for harshness*

This post seems to only have one point: belittling the president. It doesn't at all conform to the other jokes here, so it seems a little trollish.

In Belgium, of course.

You fail at trolling.

Is Nadar going to run on a Hero System platform again? 'cause I would totally throw my vote away to support him.

Something has to be done to stop this Class system warfare.

You know, everything would be just peachy if we just adopted the GURPS system. They use it in Europe and it works out just fine. One universal role-playing system for everyone, so everyone can play. How could anyone possibly be against this?

Because GURPS is against American values. It'll lead to a government takeover.

Your support of Nadar and his Hero System platform resulted in Bush coasting to victory in 00 and subsequently producing 4e.

Then again, I hear Al Gore would've just forced us all to play Exalted instead. As usual, the two political parties are just six of one, half a dozen of the other...

4e brought a lot of social issues to light. It was about time. Don't fear change, man. Fear the man, man!

I thought Gore was still pushing for trees to be a PC race.

I am trying to work out the part that you can mistake for being a bit gutterish and the best I can do is "You do know it is the Penetrative that is running things dont you."

What really bugs me is how many people thought Bush engineered the FR timeskip.
I haven't ever played in FR, so don't think I'm trying to make any point here.
And all these "worlders" who still question whether Obama started playing in Golarion.

I thought the only thing Bush, Palin and Obama agreed on was that kobolds are smelly and are lousy miners. Oh, and that they get their assses handed to them by gophers on a daily basis.

The "worlders" question whether or not Obama is FROM Golarion.
