Range increment for a lasso

What's the range increment for a lasso supposed to be? I'm guessing that 10 ft is reasonable (like a net), but it doesn't list one in the Advanced Gear section of the PRD.

Personally I would affiliate it to a Whip:

1. Exotic Weapon Prof.
2. 10 foot reach
3. Trip
4. Disarm
5. Non-lethal damage

Err, um, whips have 15 foot reach.

I'm assuming Black doesn't have the Advanced Players' Guide as lasso is listed there and functions more like a net than a whip. Unfortunately, it lists it as a ranged weapon with a range of "--".

Since the rules say it works similar to a net I would treat it like a net and give it a 10 ft. range increment. Otherwise, rules-as-written, it is a ranged weapon that has no range.

The Range for lasso should be how ever far away the nearest toilet is, so you can throw it in as soon as possible.

Looks like the range for throwing it should be a a different range than how far you can be while holding the lasso.

I would bet that putting lasso in the ranged weapon section was an error. It probably belongs in two-handed melee weapons. Anyhow, the description says "like you would using a net", so there ya' go.
