Another question, if you are what people would consider a forlorn elf how did you come upon your surname?

I made it up. Or maybe I took it from a friend. Or perhaps I found it in an old crypt. Or maychance it's my real surname. Or a combination of all of those, or something left unsaid.

Nah. She'd hate it. Go ahead and give it to me and I'll get rid of it for you.
But it belongs in a museum, Merisiel!
Museums are fun to burgle. I'm okay with someone putting it in a museum.

Would you put it back afterward?

Or have you ever had a Pathfinder try and recruit you? They do that sort of thing. The burgling of museums, I mean.

Dear Sneaksneak McStabsalot.

Kyra starts talking to you about 'marriage'.

What do you do?

a) Talk to her about it?

b) Deflect the conversation to safer topics?

c) Run screaming!

d) STAB! (She might be a Doppleganger!)

e) Other?

I have. Just say no.

How many knives do you carry at one time, and do you consider magic items for carrying more?

Legion Janus wrote:

I generally carry about a dozen, but the exact total can vary. Magic to carry more is better spent on more knives.

As I was helping to tally up artwork for the 'Who's the Iconic Whipping Boy" thread I noticed something recurring in some of your artwork: Being grabbed by tentacled monsters. Is this because your Escape Artist is so totally awesome that you feel sorry for the monsters and want them to at least feel like they did something against you? I'm sure the expression of "Oh no, it's got me" is a factor of the Bluff score. Care to confirm this?
Also, how do you feel about Valeros being the number one whipping boy? (at least he looks like a lock, so far)? Do you feel sorry for him or is it more of a running joke between you and the others?

Lady Merisiel,

I perchance happened upon... Oh. I promised to stop the overflow of words, didn't I?

Anyway, a friend showed me THIS short "film clip".

Enough weapons, or does it need more?

I don't feel sorry for him. He gets into his situations on his own. And as for tentacles... not sure, but I am certainly glad I'm good at Escape Artisting.

I didn't watch it, but there's always room for more weapons.

Have you ever tried flirting with a giant? Somehow I can imagine you trying to seduce a wood giant. Or forest giant, or whatever the hell the oversize elves are called.

No. Because, seriously. Think it through.

I did, and it still shouldn't be a problem. You either use your limbs around him, or use them inside her.

Wood giants would be the best partners, though, since they're vegetarians.

Enlarge Person. Problem solved.

Would you say that you're more personally honest than Valeros? I mean when you want to run away to avoid a problem rather than own up to it you admit at least to yourself even if you keep running away and you have no delusions about about what you and who you do it with is largely for your own instant and physical gratification.

Do you dislike the male iconics? I've noticed that except for Lem you don't have anything nice to say about them. Alain doesn't count because he deserves it.

Also, has anyone ever accused Kyra of having poor taste?

What do you think about the other iconics?

Does Alain have any good qualities?

You're welcome to all of them.

I would say that, but that's what I would say.

I don't dislike the guys at all. Don't mistake snarky goofing around and playful verbal sparring for dislike.

And not that I'm aware of. Why? Did you hear someone say something?

John Kretzer wrote:

For the most part, they're all really pretty excellent.

Alain knows his way around a fight and can ride horses really well.

Not that we would repeat anything like that to you.

Are you at all worried about it being seen as "fanservice" though?

Which is the best familiar/animal companion of the iconics?

Hmmmmmm.

Probably Seoni's blue-tailed skink, Dragon. SO PRETTY!!!

Where was Dragon while Seoni was, um, experimenting with that platypus?

Are there any humanoid races that you would refuse to flirt with on principle?

Misroi wrote:

That picture is out of context. She found that thing in a pond and was trying to figure out what the heck it was, and then some troublemaker got ahold of it and put it in there to illustrate a differently themed article!

That's my theory, at least.

Why would ANYONE want to give up a beautiful bright blue lizard for a platypus?! Eeew!

Voyd211 wrote:

Like kobolds? Yes.

As it turns out, I'm not a sex-starved maniac who has no ability to discern between what I find attractive and what I find repulsive. Believe it or not!

The better question here, really, is are there any humanoid races that you refuse to STAB on principle?

That's the picture of parallel universe Seoni, I imagine. You're not the only one who gets the fun with multiple incarnations. At least it's not the one with the toad! "That's what you get for casting Find Familiar in the swap!" :)

Not that I think Seoni should change her familiar at all, but platypii are pretty awesome; the males have their own inbuilt poisoned slashing weapon. Or are only piercing weapons cool?

Doesn't matter what it is. Once a platipus gets its webbed feet on it... it stops being cool.

No pets currently, alas. It's too sad when they die.

Nope. I've met some who THOUGHT they were great. They were not.

Anything that sweats milk is not cool. It's weird, but it's not cool.

A teat is too mainstream for a platypus.

Dear Merisiel, Daughter of Daggers and Grand Stabber, how would you rate the female iconics physical attractiveness on a scale of 1-10? I think I can assume that Kyra's a 10 for you.

What is your reaction to this post I just found?

I'm surprised Seelah and Amiri were on the low side. You don't like the big strong meat shields of your party, I guess.

Merisiel, what's your favorite meal?

Your favorite beverage?

Your favorite cuddly animal you'd rather not eat?
