Have you had a chance to meet up with Zadim, the iconic slayer? What's your impression of him? And has Kyra said anything about him to you?

Haven't met him yet, and Kyra doesn't talk much about him.

SHOULD SHE?

Ha, not like that! I thought there was a halfway decent chance they've met, being iconics and Sarenrites.

Jealous much? *ducks the inevitable stabbing!*

HA! No... that's not what I was implying. Kyra's not into guys.

I was more intrigued by how he and she have very different views on their religion... she gets all weird when the subject comes up, and was wondering if more talking about that would make things worse or better...

Oh, I know that about her. I think that's one thing that I like more about your world than ours - neither the deities or the people worshipping the deities really care who's sleeping with whom. That's something we could learn a thing or two about ourselves.

And yeah, you're wondering the same things I am. They're both very devout Sarenrites with very different outlooks. It'd be kinda cool to be a fly on the wall for a conversation between the two of them. And if she's not ready to talk about her feelings on Zadim yet, then just let her know you'll be there when she is.

Now then, I began this post mentioning something I think our world could learn from yours. Is there something you think your world could learn from ours?

Yes. How to make hot coffee more readily available.

Merisiel: Does Golarion have Chocolate?

I asked this of the T-Rex and now I ask it of you:Say someone took your blood and used it as the key component to fleshwarp a new creature. Your blood was required to give the creature the capacity for reason, faith, and love. Assuming this creature was non hostile and seeking to know you. How would you quantify your relationship to the creature?

Of course it does! Why wouldn't it? It's not like Golarion is some sort of horror show where nothing joyful dwells...

Ummm... that sounds kinda creepy and nasty and gross. Anyone who takes my blood without my permission is gonna pay back what they took tenfold. Don't really care what they do with it.

So, it's an horror show and that's why it's "joyful"?

No. We have chocolate. That's the point.

Nice try.

If one reads between the lines one would see the real meaning: Golarion is a Horror Show, therefore there are many things to stab, which means it's Joyful.

Merisiel,
I'm having an issue, can Hellknights cast magic that causes lock jaw and DEX damage? I'm in Magnimar, if that helps.

You've been around for a while, Merisiel. Have you witnessed any of the wars that shaped the Inner Sea up close? I know that such experiences can be more than a little traumatizing.

I have no idea. I'm not a Hellknight, and have actually spent the majority of my time interacting with Hellknights trying NOT to be noticed by them.

Not sure what wars you're talking about. I spent the bulk of my childhood more or less along or close to the Avistani coastline, from Varisia down to Taldor/Absalom.

The Chelish Civil War at the start of the Age of Lost Omens, for example, or Taldor's wars with Qadira, Molthune and Nirmathas's constant struggles, etc.

Delicious kinds! I don't really pay attention to the brands though.

Both are delicious, but given the choice, I'll take coffee.

I never visited Cheliax before the war. I was in Varisia until some time after that whole thing played out. Same goes for Taldor and Qadira, but I've heard a lot of stories about that one. Stupidity on both sides. And Molthune and Nirmathas are STILL at war... but I've not yet been there.

Really strong black coffee can, however, remove hair from dwarven chests. True fact.

How about espresso? Has someone on Golarion figured out pressure brewing coffee yet?

Never heard of it, so I guess that's your answer.

Why, from your observation, would the people of Cheliax be so blatantly stupid as to sell their collective souls to the literal devil? I mean, yeah, Aroden was dead, but that's no reason to go off the deep end and throw your lot in with ASMODEUS of all gods! I mean, he doesn't even TRY to hide his nastiness. He's damn proud of it!

The people of Cheliax did NOT sell their souls. Their government did. Their government is a SMALL PERCENTAGE of the total population. Don't confuse the leaders of that nation for the bulk of the people who live there.

And frankly, Asmodeus and his church DOES try to hide their evil. And generally does a good job at it.

Merisiel,
I've made a really big mistake. A handsome one, quite a few times actually, but still bad! Any tips on getting Jubrayl Vhiski off my tail? Also... how would you respond to Valeros, somehow, kissing Nualia into sumbmission? (In a parallel this totally didn't happen...)

Stealth mixed with Bluff works well. Also, recruit friends to help throw him off the trail.

As for the other? I would respond with clapping and cheering!

Detect evil doesn't work as perfectly as you might think, nor is it available to every single person. I, for example, don't get to do it. I have to take those who DO detect evil at their word, and as it turns out... a lot of the folks who CAN detect evil tend to have agendas of their own, and often say there's evil when there's not just to get the rest of us to act in a specific way.

If you were to take the minor magic and major magic rogue talents as you level up, which ones would you take? And, if you took the familiar advanced rogue talent, what familiar would you have?

Minor magic: prestidigitation

Major magic: vanish

Familiar: some sort of oversized wasp. Or maybe a compsognathus.

*shrugs* It's kinda hard for me to understand saint types like her.

If it makes you feel any better I figure it'd go like:

*Kyra sees stray puppy, casts Detect Evil*

Kyra: this poor animal is walking the path towards darkness but it is not too late to redeem it!

You: Ya know you can just adopt it, you dont ha-

Kyra: No, as an agent of the Dawnflower my duties keep me from such luxuries.

You: -_-

Kyra: Who's a redeemable puppy? You are! Yes you are!

If you had to fight an cleric of an evil God which God would you rather they represent? Which evil God's followers would you least like to battle against(to hard/scary/crazy)?

If Kyra converted over to be a follower of Zon Kuthon would you still be with her? You have to admit the sex might get a little more...interesting. Unless your not into pain play then it would be horrible.

Have you and her discussed the different moral standings between her goddess and yours? Has your difference in believes put any pressure on your relationship before?

Have any of your adventuring party ever gotten caught up in the moment after a victory against evil and taken things to a overly physical point with you or another party member and later regretted it?

Asmodeus. I enjoy putting those Thrunies down.

Norgorber's the scary one.

Probably not. Because that'd change everything I love about her. But fortunately, I don't see that ever happening. And fortunately, the sex is ALREADY quite interesting.

Yes. To both.

That's because you seem to be under the false assumption that Zon-Kuthon is the only S&M god. He is not. He is the BAD S&M god, Calistria is the "Good" S&M god.

Oh I know Calistria is the good S&M god I just don't see Kyra being into it. She seems to prudish but then again...she's been with Meri for a while now...who knows maybe she's starting to lighten up. Hmm...that's kind of a pun when talking about a cleric of the sun God...

Wrong. There's nothing particularly "good" about Calistria. Which is what makes her so interesting.

Also, Kyra's not prudish at ALL, but that's not really any of your business!
