Say, if Kyra or Seelah found one orphaned.

Or Lini... Or Mikaze.

Any chance this is a friend of yours?

"Meme" is another language I don't speak.

So I shouldn't go asking you about any arrows in the knee? :P

I have to ask, though; are baby chimerae as adorable as the artwork we've seen of one looks?

Yes.

I have no idea.

She's not carrying enough knives.

Mrs. Sillvari,

What do you do when you've been around to many stupid people and have a trobbing head ache from it? Any elven remedies you care to share with your fans?

Also can I borrow one of your daggers really quick...I have several people I want to stab and have misplaced my weapons.

I try not to associate with stupid people... but when there's no other option, a long run through the city at night can reduce stress. As can other night-time activities.

And no... I don't loan out my daggers.

Do you think there is something about the saying of opposites attracting? On the surface you and Kyra wouldn't seem too compatible with each other with your penchant for being quick to stab, the steeling, the skulduggery, and the following of a goddess that's into spite, lust, and revenge while she's more of a healing and redemption kind of person.

Didn't you know that all the good girls like trying to tame the bad girls?

Kyra used Spanking on Merisiel... It was Erotically Effective!

I thought you more of a baby owlbear person....

I know that I certainly am intrigued by people who have different outlooks on life than I do, so I do think there's something to the saying.

But you're also wrong. Calistria isn't a goddess of spite. She's a goddess of trickery. Spite is mean-spirited. Calistria is about revenge on folks like that. She might not be a goody-two-shoes, but neither is she evil.

If you do piss her off and she takes revenge... you'll never see it coming!

Alara wanders into the thread.

"Excuse me, Merisiel... I was wondering, I heard of a holiday celebrated elsewhere called 'Valentine's Day'. Apparently, people give flowers & chocolates to each other to try and strike up relationships. Or something like that. Does Golarion have something like that?"

She waves hello to Piper up the thread.

Piper waves back to Alara.

Aww... cute!

We do have something like that.

In my current game my character's backstory is that she heard about you, admired you, and then started pretending to be you.

Please don't stab me.

"Oooh! Neat! By the way, I meant to ask you this earlier, but I kinda got sidetracked..." She says, glancing at Piper.

"You guys visit Sandpoint a lot, don'tcha? Did you or any of your companions have a run-in with a Shayliss Vinder? If so, how'd that turn out?"

So, here on Earth, there's a philosopher that once dreamt of a talking skull. "You are a fool," the skull said to him, "to rejoice in the entanglements of life. "If I could return you to your life," the philosopher replied to the skull, "you would want that, wouldn't you?" To his amazement, the skull replied, "How do you know it is bad to be dead?"

Heady stuff here, when death's a one-way street. It's less so over there. Any thoughts? Or practical experience with the subject?

Hey Merisiel, The Queen of Stab and Beauty,

Here we are celbrating the New Year. We have a tradition of declaring something we are going to do or not to do, or set a goal. We call it out New Years Resolution.

Does Golarion have anything similair?

If it did what would your New Years Resolution be?

By the way I can't believe I found your thread on page two of the forum...what is wrong with you people?

They're bats. They're foul and nasty and gross and blood-crazed and swimming in vermin and all primed to get tangled in my hair.
How do you feel about rich men who fight crime at night while dressed up as bats?
They're crazy and not to be trusted.
Not even when they save the city from insane killer clowns?

Wait.

They do that?

Yeah. As a coping mechanism for the trauma of watching their parents get murdered in an alleyway when they were kids. They also fight thieves who dress up as cats, deformed crimelords that look like birds and horribly-scarred ex-magistrates that make all their decisions via coin-toss.

So are you going to ever answear anymore questions on this thread?

Talking skulls are bad news, and they should be smashed before they can turn into demiliches.

We sort of do, but it's more about hiding from things that creep in the dark.

My resolution would be to be more understanding of my friends when they do stupid things.

And what's wrong with people indeed? THOSE $*&$*&#*(@ I mean... I guess they were busy...

Ahem. Resolutions are hard!

Yes. Assuming folks ask them and then are patient enough for me to get back from a long adventuring trip where I got hit in the gut by a vampire witch's curse that required an almost equally long trip to a special healer in the big city...

What about when you do stupid things? Like that one time you didn't have the oil you needed because of some prank you had pulled just before the incident with the troll.

How close does this come to "enough knives"?

I don't do stupid things. I merely create new opportunities.

All that time she spent talking about her blades could have been used throwing more blades. Amateur.

I heard a few people saying that Alain has been talking about an excursion to the Worldwound with you, Seoni and Seelah as "my adventure with my cheerleading squad". Is that true, or have you had to disabuse him of the notion? It sounds like something he'd say.

If you offend her pray that she opts to kill you quickly. Elves have a thing for drawn out revenge, I've heard tales of Clastrian elven ninja who kept their victims alive for years... EVERY SECOND IN TORMENT.

We often let him say whatever he wants, since it keeps him busy and he's not all that good at putting conviction behind his bluster anyway.

What do you think of this guy's standard-issue military gear?

Do you think Kyra would like this as a present?

In the early artwork of your adventures it seemed that Kyra, Seoni, Valeros, and you formed a group a lot. Given Valeros' personality and how he likes the company of attractive women how did he pull that off? For him it seems he really lucked out back then and hit the adventuring group jackpot to be in that situation. Do you think it was more than he deserved?

ShadowFighter88 wrote:

Seems like his commander could have splurged a bit more on some armor to cover his chest and belly.

Nah. She'd hate it. Go ahead and give it to me and I'll get rid of it for you.

I'm not sure what to think about being part of some sort of payout for anyone.

Mmmreh, ever had things stolen by birds? My companion be owl, but act like magpie. He steal trinkets and food from people I heal, mmmreh. Usually have to hit with stick before he give back.

I meant hitting the jackpot as a metaphorical statement to imply that fate and fortune must have been very kind to him. I don't know if I would consider that a payout, not anymore than anybody else getting lucky receiving a "payout" from the fickle cosmic forces of fate.

Another question, if you are what people would consider a forlorn elf how did you come upon your surname?

Museums are fun to burgle. I'm okay with someone putting it in a museum.
