Sovereign Court

pretty much just like the regular dwarves. Looking good , looking forward to see the others.

Liberty's Edge

The Bronzebeard Clan always struck me as such so I figured that would be a good place to start. Next up is a cleaned up formatting of Maverick898's Draenei conversion. I've given it the same layout style as my take on the Bronzebeard dwarves with his approval.

Draenei

Liberty's Edge

Power to the Forsaken!

Sovereign Court

Hmm just thought about it that will of the forsaken and risen from the graves wouldn't stack due to being the same kind of bonuses, But well maybe a +4 bonus would be too high to be quite honest. Overall, looking good.

Liberty's Edge

Well crap. That same logic would affect my Risen race as well. I'll find something that fits the theme of the Forsaken to replace the "Will" with.

Racial bonuses do stack, according to Pathfinder_OGC:

The important aspect of bonus types is that two bonuses of the same type don't generally stack. With the exception of dodge bonuses, most circumstance bonuses, and racial bonuses, only the better bonus of a given type works. Bonuses without a type always stack, unless they are from the same source.

Sovereign Court

ah good to know.

Liberty's Edge

Ok I'm lost now. Do the Forsaken need to get changed a little or no?

Sovereign Court

they don't need to.

Liberty's Edge

Maverick898 got to this race before I could get started on them. So here is his take on the Tauren.

Liberty's Edge

Darkspear Trolls never die!

Note #1: Some errors were noticed on the Troll file and then corrected. The link should still work.

Note #2: Some errors were noticed on the Tauren file and then corrected. The above link should still work. Let me know if it doesn't.

Sovereign Court

Looking good.

Liberty's Edge

"Darkness covered us in the beginning, and we could not see. We cried for guidance and the moon shone down bright upon us. Her soft light not only illuminated the night for us but also gave comfort. Her light touched us from within, enabling us to see even when the moon was not visible..." - Tyrande Whisperwind, Night Elf High Priestess.

Sovereign Court

Solid and blend is indeed perfect as a spell like ability.

Liberty's Edge

Thanks. :)

Liberty's Edge

Noticed that I forgot to put Low-Light Vision in the Night Elf traits box. Updated version now available.

First off I would like to thank Valkyn Highwind for his fantastic work. Not only are your conversions top notch, but your formatting to make it all look professional has been amazing. Thank you.

Now for the next race to be posted

"To pretend it [the demonic corruption] did not exist is to forget how dreadful the impact was. To make ourselves into victims, rather than claiming our participation in our own destruction. We chose this path, we orcs. We chose it right up until it was too late to turn back. And having made that choice, we can, with the knowledge that we have of the end of that dark and shameful road, choose not to take it."

Me not That Kind of Orc

Liberty's Edge

awe garsh... :)

Sovereign Court

Looking good. Looking forward to see the Pandaren.

Liberty's Edge

Went back and added height, weight, and aging information to the Dwarf and Draenei races. Though the Draenei information is largely guess-work or outright fabrication.

Liberty's Edge

Next up are the Humans of Azeroth. They are a little more robust when compared to their Golarian cousins.

If Human's are Robust, then this next race has to be Husky! It's everyone's favorite cuddly race, the Pandaren!

"To ask why we fight... ... is to ask why the leaves fall. It is in their nature. Perhaps, there is a better question. Why do we fight? To protect Home, and Family... To preserve Balance, and bring Harmony. For my kind, the true question is: What is worth fighting for?" - Chen Stormstout

Liberty's Edge

"A properly accelerated gnome in battle is a thing of terrible beauty." - Gelbin Mekkatorque

"Behind the formidable Greymane Wall, a terrible curse has spread throughout the isolated human nation of Gilneas, transforming many of its stalwart citizens into nightmarish beasts known as WORGEN. The origins of this curse have been fiercely debated, but only recently has the startling truth come to light."

Sovereign Court

Humans are a bit tougher but fair enough for the world of Azeroth.
Pandaren are great.

Gnomes, taking advantage of the technology guide with technologist is a great idea but might suggest to offer the alternative of using the Master tinker gnome trait instead of technologist as an alternate trait? While I enjoy the technologist feat, just thinking that some DM might argue that technology guide stuffs won't see much use in their world/version of Azeroth.

Worgen are looking good.

Liberty's Edge

I like your suggestion about offering that trait as an option to the technologist feat, and I've edited the file to include it.

Liberty's Edge

“I never cover up the things I’m proud of. If the world was gonna split in half tomorrow, I’d buy the Dark Portal, slap a toll booth on it, and charge refugees the last of their pocket change, the rings off their fingers, a bite of their sandwiches, and a contractual obligation to build me a rocket palace in the skies of Nagrand. It’s the goblin way! Supply and demand! Deal with it!” - Jastor Gallywix, Goblin Trade Prince

Sovereign Court

Looking great, just noticed that you forgot to change the gnome/goblin for master tinker.

Blood Elves

"All we can do is walk the road we are given with such dignity as we can muster, each to our own glory or demise, and pray that there yet remains something of our own hearts when all is said and done. By the Sunwell, I hope that there will remain something of mine." - Lor'themar Theron; Regent Lord of Quel'Thalas

Fixed now. Thanks for spotting it.

Here's the first collected file now that the core races are done.

Liberty's Edge

Found another attempted escapee of the copy/pasting that I did in the Forsaken and fixed it. Also, added Maverick808's Deathwing, Lich King, Sylvanas Windrunner, and Vindicator Karessa npcs to the collected file. Both prior links should still be valid. If not let me know.

Sovereign Court

Looking awesome, would only say one thing, just recommend to them, to just use pathfinder classes and archetypes, they can get everything they want from all the pathfinder materials.

Curious if Occult classes book coming out soon, will maybe help representing some warcraft elements more easily, guess will have to wait and see.

Liberty's Edge

I use what you can find on the PRD and a couple of things from d20pfsrd when I work on things. Not sure exactly what sources Maverick898 uses for everything but so far it is just us working on this WarCraft related material.

When designing something I look at the Lore of the character/race/creature, and look for the best possible equivilent that pathfinder has. I consult things like WoWpedia, the Warcraft RPG books (mind you some of those things are broken as all hell), and even check things out in game.

Now that Valkyn and I have finished the Race's i'm going to go back and tackle some of my earlier work. I'm also open to idea's on what everyone wants to see

Sovereign Court

Maybe make a raid or dungeon into an adventure, some of them have potential for interesting stories and challenges.

It's interesting that you say that :D

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Noticed that Arthas was missing a page. So I fixed the collected file.

Maverick898 wrote:

Get back to work you. :P

Interesting retinue of creatures here. I shall be keeping an eye on this thread...

Liberty's Edge

Ladies and Gentlemen. Allow me to introduce Casta Dawnblade, Spell Breaker of Silvermoon City.

She has also been added to the compilation file linked in a prior post. I should also note that she is an original character.

Liberty's Edge

Maverick898 pointed out to me that the feat two-weapon fighting was redundant for Casta. As such I have replaced it with improved initiative to help her get the drop on her opponents sooner.

Sovereign Court

yeah magus have their own thing to cast spells and have a free hand, it is looking great tho.

Liberty's Edge

Here's a Forsaken Shielded Fighter that would be right at home facing off against any of the Banshee Queen's enemies. For your enjoyment here is Dresden Cryptwalker.

Messed up on Casta's HP so that got fixed. I apologize for all the math errors, and other problems, on my npcs as I am not using a character generator to do them. So I fix things as I catch them.

Edit (15:30): Forgot to put the basic mythic abilities in Dresden's stat block. All better now.

I haven't forgotten about ya's. Just took a few days to recharge. But I have gone back and started redoing some of my earlier conversions now that we have the Race's finished.

So today I bring you a personal favorite.

“The armies of the world will come for me, and within my fortress they will face all the terrible creatures I have wrought, the boundless power I have mastered. And one by one they will fall at my feet. Any who would rise against my new Horde will be impaled upon the spires of Orgrimmar!” Garrosh Hellscream

Liberty's Edge

I've taken and added Garrosh to the collected works file. So whether you want just him or all of it you have choices. :)

Sovereign Court

Looking good and 2 handed fighter is quite fitting.

So Valkyn and I were talkin last night, and discovered that we haven't really shown any alliance love. What with our future plans being mostly horde and all.

So today's project got pushed right to the front of the pile. Perhaps one of the greatest's human sorceress.

"My Magic Will Tear You Apart!" - Jaina Proudmoore

Enjoy!

Sovereign Court

just at a quick glance didn't double check the math, it seems like she has PC level of wealth, in general it is worth CR+1 , but beside that looking pretty good.

Eltacolibre wrote:

It is a bit over the NPC wealth, but no where near what PC's get.

Sovereign Court

alright fair enough.

I think there should be some adjustments on alignment specifically.

For example LN is not really fitting for Garrosh that has always being depicted as hotheaded. He's CN, straying to CE in Pandaria.

Also it's a sad restiction of the antipaladin, but the Lich King is LE or NE. Also sylvanas is not really fitting as CE.

About Sylvanas also I'd apply the Zombie Lord template to her.

Ultimately, Kel'Thuzad despite not having a sheet yet is expected to be CE, but he's the most LE of the bunch to me.

Jaina is good, but given how mages work in warcraft and her story, she should be a Wizard of the Water School, or an Arcanist (School Savant (water) or Elemental Master in Cold)

Also she's of absurdly high level, I'd say she's in the ballpark of Parthinder 9-level spell given what she tried to do in order to destroy Orgrimmar
