Poison Application per dose

Rules Questions

How many bolts can you apply poison to with each dose of poison?

Grand Lodge

One bolt. If you accidentally hit yourself with that bolt, it would consume one dose of poison (p. 558).

That seems weird that if a character buys or makes a vial of poison, tha you can only coat one bolt. Does this mean that a vial of poison has more than one dose? and if so how many doses in a vial.

Grand Lodge

You make or buy poison by the dose and the core rulebook gives no weight or volume for it, so you can put it in any size vial or flask you want. I might suggest a phial holds up to 5 doses, a vial holds no more than 10 doses or a flask holds about 20 doses.

ok, so we have how much each container can hold... but how many doses do you buy when you purchase the poison??

It depends how many gold pieces you give the guy.

If you mean, how many doses does the listed price on Table 16-2 buy - one dose.

Right. Poison is expensive. One dose each. You could always buy a Poisoner's Jacket to get around that, a little bit, though.
