If we look at last year's PFS GM request for Gen Con/Paizo Con we're not really behind schedule yet.
I belive the call for Gen Con volunteers for 2009 came out in April 16 of that year. And with the release of PRPG, that was a big year.
The call for Paizo Con and Gen Con volunteers came out March 20 last year.
With the many Venture Captains being asked to make it to at least one of these events I am guessing some of those spots are already filled.
Then again, since a number of those Venture Captains were the same old rabble rousers ... *ahem*, gentlemen and women of quality, I'm guessing there will be a lot of the same faces around.
Hyrum and (perhaps) Mark must just be getting all thier fiendish dire ducks in a row.
It would be nice to have updates though.

Origins will probably be done by whoever organizes PFS for the con, not Paizo directly.

doesn't hurt to ask -- technically the call for Gencon came out on 03/18 last year (my search-fu was working this morning) and as I've had a couple ask me and I'm working on my travel arrangements etc., figured it couldn't hurt to ask
Please leave the large box labled "Tax Evasion" as is.And if you find a reel titled "Darth Vader, Waterfall Fantasy" in there ... um, its not mine, I'm just keeping it for a friend. Really!

Those last couple of slots to run before your next star always seem to take forever...Maaayyyyybe lol.. planning on a year to my 3rd .. so march next year lol
it's cause you're a slacker .. I mean if you reall REALLY wanted it you'd be out the whoring yourself .. have you taken a look at TK lately? He's exhausted after his effors!!!!!!

I should have my 2nd by the end of April. If the playerbase keeps up here I should make the 3rd on by the end of the year. We seem to be picking up some numbers and the upcoming con may give us more. Summer tends to be a down time for us with all the vacations people take however.

heh .. I wrote out my con schedule -- effectly about every other month lol .. but depending how many slots per con I end up juding .. I'm still estimating a year -- so marchish for my 3rd star

For the local club, I can judge up to 4 tables a month. Add the local cons, and those months can be up to 10. (I should actuall have 2 now but I made a few mistakes with mod reporting sheets that were unrecoverable :()
