Of course, Paizo Fans United already sounds a bit like a soccer team...

I've actually considered what the Paizo Fans United kit should look like. I'm thinking a classic Blue-White stripes kit in the vein of Swedish giants IFK Göteborg, or Deportivo La Coruña. Not like Sheffield Wednesday, though - they always make the stripes too thin.

Blue!? Nah, man. Golem Purple.

I like that one - make it part of the PaizoCon workshops for gaming - hehe:

"Official certificate that Ms/Mrs/Mr XYZ successfully attended the PFU course ABC at PaizoCon 2011"

And be sure to make the chosen color(s) for the mascot/logo available as RGB/CMYK color codes, so I can start writing my forum posts with it (or at least my emails)!

That's what I was thinking; with those letters in a 'gridiron' font.

The problem with that is that all soccer teams playing in purple are awful. Plus, using blue and white the crest will stand out more.

Spoiler:
Now, if you don't mind I'm-a go hide from some football-hooligans from Birmingham and London's East End.

Doh stupid work! Hey I know it was awhile ago but thanks for the email Tim can't wait to see what horrors lie within!

Hey, a quick head count here!

If you donated, advertised, edited, or contributed (an article or art) to Wayfinder #5 AND are attending PaizoCon 2011 this weekend, LET ME KNOW.

Like, reply to this thread below...or email me.

Spoiler:

I'm trying to get a handle on how many Wayfinder copies I need to hold back to ship, and how many of you are getting one for attending PaizoCon anyway.

We have 500 copies, but I'm sort of nervous that there won't be enough for everyone.....

:(

As it looks right now, it will either be first come, first served, or 1 copy per household (or both!).

FYI, if quantities are really looking tight, I'd be happy to donate my print copy so that someone else gets one - I can always download the PDF once I get back home

Too far away...

But I donated so you do not curse me for contributing and living in good old Europe. I hope it covers the expenses for shipping!

Maybe I can wrestle Hyrum for his copy, at Paizocon UK?

Dear Snorter,

Or you could just take his copy and lock him up in the basement so that Paizo have to send a clone of their events director to GenCon and then claim on the 'accident of the trade' insurance and quietly replace him later in the year - you know, just like you and they did last year with Josh Frost... ;)
Hoping that this post has been Helpful.

Yours,

Ask A Succubus.

If in your version of reality this is not what happened last year, and as far as you know Josh Frost is still alive and well... well it's probably best for you to carry on imagining that that is the case.

The images I use to generate the source stamps are typically about 100x100 pixels in size.

OK, thanks! Gears are turning....we'll see what comes of it!

I'm checking in to see how the percolation is going for this. Is there any progress to report?

Something is in the works, but I need to wait in line behind commissions. Hopefully something yet this summer!

So just checking in with everyone since I haven't seen anything yet, how is everyone liking the new issue if Wayfinder?

Plenty of discussion about it here.

Plenty of discussion about it here.

And yet only one actual review!

I know. I've been nervous because I've only gotten a little feedback on my serial story, In Hell's Embrace. I do hope people have been enjoying it. :)

Curious question: has it shipped, yet? I know it will take a little longer to reach me, with living far, far away, but waiting is a pain and not knowing even more so...

No, I have not gotten to the list of 60+ people that I need to somehow figure out how to ship their copy to them. Sorry.

I am actually taking the advice that a 3PPer gave me at PaizoCon: take a short break from Wayfinder things. It will help avoid burnout.

So, in July, I will go back to the emails and Paypal statements, gather up the shipping addresses I have, request the ones I don't have, find out if any of them are Paizo subscribers, get THAT info so perhaps I can ask to have their Wayfinder copy included in their next shipment, take the remaining list, and figure out how many I have to personally ship, and then further search for/request additional funds for shipping costs. Because we spent every cent we got to print these.

RuyanVe, I know you sent additional funds for shipping to Germany, so you are good. I just wanted people to know that I will get to this task in July, and I may need additional info/funds to get folks their copy...

Tim

Thanks for the quick answer, Timitius!

Don't worry, now that I know your plans I can wait - and I totally agree, that after such an enormous task, taking time off is exactly the right thing to do!

The thing with the coupled shipment (subscription+Wayfinder), came to my mind as well - hope it works!
