This thread is moot

Off-Topic Discussions

This thread is moot. Unless a decision is made and facts come to light this thread has no meaning and is just wild speculation. It doesn’t matter how much proof is presented, until some in authority determines yes or no and verified and certified by public opinion, it is all moot.

The Exchange

Yes. That is point enough.

Well, do you pronounce moot as if it rhymes with cute, or do you pronounce moot as if it rhymes with loot? That makes a lot of difference.

Now this is just speculation but I don't feel this thread is moot. As we wait for public opinion and the authority to come along with my view point I think this thread serves a vast importantance and to call it moot is insultive to the people who work hard on bringing us this very thread.

Futhermore I disagree with your defination of moot...atleast as presented in the context you used.

I think it's pretty clear this thread is a hoax.

Liberty's Edge

I know this isn't the right place to ask this question, but I couldn't find the proper forum on Paizo in which to do it! Someone should really look into that, btw...

How come when I press 100 on the microwave it skips all the way down to 59 a second after I started? I just don't get it! What happened to the other 40 numbers in between?

Whew, so that's where they went. I was getting worried.

You are right it is confusing. It is the whole 60 minutes to the 1 minute thing...it is sooo outdated we need Time 2nd edition. Sure we need to get rid of all our old clocks and items with timers...as there is no backwards compatible...but think of what that would do for the economy.

The Exchange

I would rather stay mute on this moot point.

Metric FTW!

Of course given America's abhorance for change, not likely.

But counting by tens is hard.

What??? Counting my tens....that is soo simpleminded any animal can do that. It makes more sense and is much more flexable to have a variable systems in measuremnt.

Anyway the metric system is just for those boards gamers ...I am talking about Time. I don't think Time 2n ed should be based on that new fangled metric system...I mean really been there...done that and is borted with.

But what we based Timed 2nd ed I don't know yet...I think we should go with changing years to be longer so we can live longer though...and not get all depressed as our ages climb really high...I mean I am in my thirties imagine howe happy I would be if I was just three...that would be awesome...

I wish I'd never written the screen play for Zardoz. I'd just come off a six week bender in the Philippines with a stop over in Bangkok, the week after that was just kind of a blur... but I had a movie deal staring Sean Connery. How could I say no? Boy, I should've said no.

Be very quite, I'm hunting moots.

About the only thing Rick Springfield is known for anymore.

Oh wait! You mean he was on General Hospital?
Oh wait! You mean had had two top ten singles?
Oh wait! He made a movie?

I wanna tell her that I love her,
But the point is probably moot

I like to stop the microwave with one second to go...... makes me feel like I defused a bomb. :)

Fun fact: to say something is moot actually means it is still open for discussion, as opposed to meaning that it is irrelevant or pointless to discuss.

Isn't that the guy I saw on TV lately, telling the FBI guy about the blood in his stool?

Naah....that was David Hasselhoff.

I have something important to say. I’ll tell you as soon as Dick tells me what it is.

Barry said you killed Santa Claus, so Christmas has been called off this year.

He also told his wife you spiked his Gatorade with saltpeter.

Your point is moot and I only did it to spite the Kenyans that moved in.
