Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

So my question is can you have archetypes for alternate classes? for example an archetype for the anti paladin and so on.

I don't see why not. If you make one, just ask your DM if you can use it. Or you could take an existing archetype and change it so it benefits an anitpaladin instead of a paladin. Most of them don't need big changes, just replace the existing ability lost from the paladin to the corresponding one for the antipaladin and change the name.

For the Undead Scourge archetype:
1) Change the name to Undead Saviour.
2) Smite Evil becomes Smite Good.
3) Aura of Life becomes Aura of Death, bolstering undead for a +4 on Will saves against channeling.
4) Undead Annihilation is a little trickier.
- a) Make it target a good outsider and have it called Angelic Annihilation.
or
- b) Make an undead immune to positive energy, such as channel or smite evil, for a number of rounds equal to your antipaladin level and have it called Undead Protection.

If you can find it, the Dragonlance Campaign Setting book: War of the Lance has a write up for Lord Soth who is pretty much the go to for Anti-Paladin.

If you are looking for something a little less undead I'd reccomend making an Anti-Paladin based off Mordred. He always felt Anti-Paladin to me.

I was also thinking of ideas for archetypes for the gunslinger, ninja, and samurai because all of the classes differ from the base classes enough where they could possibly get there own archetypes but maybe this would be splitting hairs. I think it would be neat if paizo did something like this though.
