I'm in the process of making a general plan for my next PFS character. I'm doing some pretty heavy multiclassing and I need to know whether I need to fit a fighter level into the build to use the sash of the war champion (APG 309).
Armor training is pretty critical to the concept as I need access to full movement in mithral full plate. (Starting with Cavalier)

Even though the sash does not have a class requirement, I would make a player have at least 1 level of fighter to gain benefits of the sash. But he would just get the benefits a lvl 5 fighter would get for bravery and armor training. More levels of fighter needed to increase the benefit.

If you have no fighter levels, you cannot increase your fighter levels; you would need at least one level of fighter to gain any benefit from sash of the war champion.

what happend with "Fighter Training (Ex)" of Magus's special ability?
Sash of the War Champion stack with "Fighter Training" and gain the benefits?
Sash of the War Champion only effects Armor Training and bravery. Fighter training only effects qualifying for feats. There is no overlap that I am aware of.
