Well, I suppose in a universe consisting of a solitary electron, there would be no room for pants.

I don't think that's quite right.

... time thousand...

Carry ten...

Multiply by 40...

So, according to my crude calculation detonating all the antimatter scientist produced would have strength of 0,4 kg TNT.

That would be a rather Little Bang in a laboratory.

The bell rang for school to start and John walked in late. Mr. Clark asked, "John, why are you late?" He replied, "I was on Cherry Hill." Then he sat down. Ten minutes later Nathan walked in late and Mr. Clark repeated, "Why are you late?" Nathan answered, "I was on top of Cherry Hill." Five minutes later Kevin walked in late and Mr. Clark said to him, "Kevin, where have you been?" Kevin replied, "I was on Cherry Hill." Ten minutes later a girl walked in the classroom and Mr. Clark asked, "Hi there, what's your name?" The girl replied, "Cherry Hill."

I was sitting on my own in a restaurant, when I saw a beautiful woman at another table. I sent her a bottle of the most expensive wine on the menu. She sent me a note, “I will not touch a drop of this wine unless you can assure me that you have seven inches in your pocket.” I wrote back, “Give me the wine. As gorgeous as you are, I'm not cutting off three inches for anyone.”

A woman is having a hard time getting her tomatoes to ripen so she goes to her neighbor with her problem. The neighbor says, "All you have to do is go out at midnight and dance around in the garden naked for a few minutes, and the tomatoes will become so embarrassed, they will blush bright red." The woman goes out at midnight and dances around her garden naked for a few minutes. The next morning, the neighbor comes over to the woman's house and asks the woman if her tomatoes have turned red. The woman says "No, they're still green, but I noticed the cucumbers grew four inches!"

I haven't seen any bears or owls around recently. Hopefully that means there is a plethora of interspecies nookie happening somewhere, which will soon result in me acquiring my desired owlbears. Fingers, and other things, crossed.

I was just aware enough that I remember saying something weird to my wife this morning as I was waking up. Pretty sure it was part of a dream. I have no daggum idea what I said, now.

I know it out-loud, though, 'cause she said, "Uh... what? ... no." before going on with whatever we were supposed to be talking about when I was not-quite-awake.

XD

Since we're sharing sleepy-time stories, I guess I have one.

I don't normally remember my dreams, but last week I remembered a small part of one. I was walking down a hallway, carrying a bag on my shoulder. The hall was from some fancy hotel or something, I was on a flyway over a lobby with a big 3-story glass atrium. I noticed I was wearing a long-sleeved, pale blue, light-weight shirt. I stopped walking, dropped the bag, looked down at my shirt and said "Why am I wearing this shirt? I would never wear this shirt!" I was quite angry about it, and then the alarm went off and I woke up.

Uh... Anyone use Windows Surface anyway?!

I don't recall seeing much of them from my phone/tablet servicing company job... Asus, Samsung, iPads, some others were much more popular, by orders of magnitude.

I also like my Xbox 360.

That's about the only thing I have by them as my family has been Apple since the 80s, before it was cool.

I refuse to voluntarily use anything produced by Apple, possibly because I'm a plonker.

And so it hath proven to be.

Sword & dagger, bayonets, Italian WW1 trench knife and Polish sabre.

The sabre tournament is on Saturday morning (Yikes...)

I am sleepy, much sleepy...

Oh, it's 1:25 am.

I still need to eat dinner.

Well, I don't need to, but I am just finishing warming it, so it'd be shame to not take advantage of that.

I went with my mother to pick up my 95-year-old grandmother from her dialysis session today wearing this shirt

Usually I dress a bit better to visit with her, but I hadn't thought about it. And she stared and stared and stared trying to make sense of it and never said a word.

I felt bad, honestly. She doesn't deal well with anything surreal.

It's not Limeylongears (I suspect), but here's a video that claims to be Polish Saber fighting.

Yeah, I know that video. It's a pretty accurate as far as I can tell according to my limited knowledge.

You know, if Nine Inch Nails sounded like this I might be more interested in listening to them.

Since Starfinder is set in the distant future and it shares the same universe as earth, what if the Vanara come from earth.

lemniscate - the name for that mathematical symbol for infinity, that looks like this: ∞

And now you've been informed.

:D

So my mom ran over my car this morning with her monster truck.
My little Honda was parked across the street from her house and she was backing her big Cummins diesel Dodge out of the drive so she and I could go out to the horses this morning, and she rammed right into it.
The best part?
When I said, "What was that?"...her response?
"Oh, just the curb."
Which is my new favorite line.
She feels awful. I'm just laughing about it, because in all fairness, for every time I banged up one of her vehicles in my teens, well, let's just say that if I got all affronted about this, I'd be the worst kind of hypocrite.

Oh, it's just the curb.
LMAO.

Despite having a... broken? Sprained? (Knackered, anyway) right index finger, I managed to get into the sabre semis, only to lose to the chap from our club who went on to win silver, so I'm not un-pleased about that.

There may well be vids - will post links if/when I have 'em.

A Ysoki can store ten grenades or small firearms, or alternatively a moderately powerful sniper rifle or one missile in their cheek pouches.

Let's see. Do I want to spend about $400 on a super sexy "Scottish" broadsword to one up my roommate and his new brass knuckles of questionable legality, or do I want to behave in a fiscally responsible and emotionally well adjusted manner?

Well, from the girl who has a beautiful saber in her bedroom dresser and holes in her sneakers, GO WITH THE BLADE.

Whoo hoo!! Starfinder character sheets are printed!!!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Well, my Dad has made three powerful arguments. Namely that I can't mount the blade (can't put holes that big in the wall) and I can't use it for anything (no local HEMA that does 16th century broadsword fencing), that I wanted to go to Paris this winter and that's a huge chunk of my vacation money, and that, as a gun owner, I kind of already have the ultimate leg up here. I kind of have to concede all of those points.

Pixistix, a LG Shirren Xenoseeker themed Solarion.

If anyone laughs about his name I'll have him act genuinely mystified.
