I prefer not to acknowledge when I'm sick.

The germs mustn't win.

Edit: I feel just dandy, so this streak is purely for my entertainment.

John – really sorry to hear about your mom – is it possible for you to ask for another doctor or at least get someone who can properly diagnose what exactly is going wrong?

NH wrote:

Well, this morning his response to Impus Minor's illness was, "Impus, you can't just take time off from school whenever you feel like it."

NH – generally I feel like that when I take off days off work/studies when I’m feeling sick. But these days I’ve gotten better about it, since I realized that going into office with flus/colds(still can’t tell the difference is), is just going to make ME wirse, and I will end up taking more days off in the end. Better to get some rest, get it nipped in the bud and get better so you can get back to working/studying.

At least yesterday I wasn’t totally incapacitated and managed to finish enough maps so that the elder and his guardians showed up. Now my brother and I are trying to smack them together. The Eradicator and the Purifier left(the two harder guardians)

I’m still having a blocked nose, but my temperature is now normal so I’m back at my desk clearing up stuff. I think my mom was more worried about my temperature then I was. I figured if something was dealing with the cold then my fever would poof.

Good news – my BF passed his IPPT test – his 2.4 km run (or 3 miles) timing was 14 min, 2 secs. Which means he’s making about 10.2 km/h. Which is faaar faster then the 9 km/h I was doing.

Strange Aeons and lag was keeping me away from here.

Snow! Lots and lots of snow!!

Of course this being Madison, there will be school tomorrow.

Sorry, Mort, but given that a mile is 1.6 KM, 2.4 KM is a mile and a half. But still, offer him my congratulations.

How does Captain Yesterday break in a new pair of shoes, you most likely never considered asking.

I'm glad you asked!

By walking a mile and a half (one way) to the grocery store, almost entirely uphill, and through the snow.

I remember a Doctor saying that the body knows how much rest it needs. Go to sleep when you're tired, wake up when you're not. Don't force yourself. That's what makes you tired.

My body knows how much sleep it need... MORE.

Of course it works. It's math. Math always works.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I think that depends on who you have doing it.. me for example you'll find it doesn't work out as well as you might hope.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

See, that's you not working, not the math.

My Hearthstone quest for today was to play 30 Warlock cards. I did it in 1 game. I made a deck out of all the lowest mana class cards I had, provided they didn't cause me to discard. My opponent was a mage with a very strange deck. It had few spells, most of the creatures were starting cards (River Crocolisks and such), and I was able to fend him off long enough to play my entire deck and then kill myself in fatigue.

Nice I finally beat the adventure with Hunter got the ones that gave all minions +1/+1, reduced all minions above 5 to 5 and the 2 cost that lets you recruit 3 minions from your deck. It grabbed 2 of the 6/5 lions that die to become 2/2 and another high cost on turn 2. Had him dead in no time.

The last five people to guess my age lowballed by over a decade.

Don't smoke (tobacco), don't drink alcohol, and avoid the sun like the plague it is, and it pays off! Also moisturizer when I remember and a solid 9 of sleep helps too.

See this is why I was fat and acne ridden as a teen. My vanity is tempered by my past, or else I'd be so very much worse. I got a boss haircut this week (a full head of hair also helps, but that's just genetics [I stopped dying after I cut it short, so my natural copper/gold blend is back]) so now I feel like the man. If my head gets any more inflated by my ego I'll flip over every time I tie my shoes!

I'm just kidding, that wouldn't happen...

...All of my shoes are slip on.

Nice. I haven't tried it with Hunter yet. I've won with Mage and Priest, and have been banging my head against a wall with Warrior. I've got almost 100 victories with it, have made it to the final boss 6 or 7 times, but cannot close it out. Last time I faced the beholder, which is b*~!*@&# (I would recruit a board of 4 or 5 strong guys, and then it would go "2 damage to all enemy minions" followed immediately by "destroy all enemy minions"). I even had the treasure that doubles your health, so I started with 90 life, and it somehow managed to heal back up to full by the time it killed me. The previous time I reached the final boss really pissed me off because I was facing Toggswaggle or whatever his name is, and would have won but I played the right two cards in the wrong order and let it kill me.

Yeah I haven't done much better I had one close one with the treasure Kobold. but he ended up beating me by fatigue.

Nice one Vidmaster7. I'm still trying to complete a dungeon run without my BFs advice. It seems like the deck building smarts are with him. Druid is a hoot with all minions that cost above 5 cost 5,jungle giants and Barnabas.

Jade golems is what did it for me with the druid. Get the double battle cry artifact and then I think I hate the double life one too. as long as you stay alive eventually golems win hands down.

Right until you run into the joker who counter spells your first spell or summons a tunnel trog for each spell you cast.

You just don't cast spells and rely on minions for him the one that gets me every time is that darn evolution guy. Rag on turn 4 isn't cool.

That's not a fault with the math, it's just us you humans not figuring it out yet.
