You can thank Nobodyshome for giving me the idea, Orthos for giving me someone to shoot for (and being super classy), Monkey for being the original guy with the most aliases, and Monkey, Amby and Mokmurion for keeping me on my toes. :-)
I remember your first direct address to me, back in that thread we don't talk about, was:
Yes! Make more aliases!
I had no idea why you seemed so excited about the prospect of me making a gestalt paladin/cleric alias. And then I met your phone. And then the drunken GPS. Then the claptrap author. Cuddly Hugs. Irrational Division.
. . . . .
Yeah.
Wow.
Props, dude. Props.

Well, the trainwreck that led to me PMing Tac, and then hitting "his" thread, which led here to FaWtL, only showed that the alleged "derailing" was really an effort to transmute lead/turds to gold/cupcakes.
But only in that, one, isolated case.
:D
Maybe one day I'll have 357 aliases. But I'm just at 9 right now -- two are PbP characters, two are wannabes (of which only one has any personality), one will someday be relevant, and the other four are the direct result of some much-needed snarking.
No rush. Takes a powerful motivation for me to make new ones . . . .

I do it because I firmly believe laughter and positive energy is necessary for maintaining health, and once long ago James Jacobs gave me an ass chewing when I was being an a!&++@& about adding more positivity to the internet and it really struck me.
If I ever come across as rude, crass, or insensitive please tell me! That's not what I want, and I'm very open to honest criticism. :-)

The AP crowd likes to keep things on track, especially if it's about WotR and Mythic Adventures :-)
Edit: Yes, almost all of my derailing is to defuse negative situations.

We could!
Mine now reaches the middle of my back, dry.
The General isn't that far behind.
Pea Bear's is past her waist.
Tiny T-Rex at only five is only to his shoulders.
Edit: when we got married and each called a household job that had to be done that we never wanted to do (and thus the other spouse would have to do) The General called unplugging the drain, and later added taking out the trash, while I picked cleaning the toilet.
In hindsight, I wished I'd thought it through more.

Grew my hair out till it nearly reached the small of my back. Then I cut it all off in a fit of pique, and found a lovely hereditary shiny spot smack on the crown of my head. I'm overdue for Bic'ing the ol' noggin.
And my face has been extra-wooly for about three weeks . . . . So, Freehold -- Edge? Barbasol? Hand soap?

I only 'stache by default -- prefer to keep myself free of soup-straining effects. Had a high-gauge "Abe Lincoln" going for a while -- coworker asked if I was portraying an Amish man for Halloween . . . in April. But when drinking a glass of sweet tea evokes comparisons to plankton-straining baleen, gotta peel it.

Man, something's in the air.
First I got double-charged for the hotel stay (still hasn't been fixed, and Orbitz keeps saying, "Be patient! 7-10 business days!"). Then I got double-charged for an iTunes purchase. Then NobodysWife got double-charged for parking.
Is it a double-up month or something? It's only the 3rd and I'm already getting tired of double-billing...

Half hour to 45 minute wait for a passel of haircuts?! Dang.
Around here that would be considered the express lane.
It's official*. I hate* the west coast* and all that it stands for*.
* Nope.

I don't have a mustache, the General says it makes me look too cliche villain.
I think it makes you either look Galtan or like a pirate.
Pea Bear's watching Scream Queens pilot, it's pretty good.
The opening is good! That's all I know.
Growing a mustache is not in the cards, no matter how cool it would look with this eyepatch.
Hmm
I hear there's a dwarven cream for that...

Did I ever tell you guys that I hate math??
I did?
. . . . .
Are you sure?!
'Cause there's no way I have adequately described the fury, the lividity, the void-melting rage that little corner of thought brings out in me.
If I wanted acid-trip logic to help me arrive at my conclusions, I'd be tripping RIGHT NOW!!
slow exhale
Time to go read a book.
