Good times.

I think that you as a professor would be awesome.

I'd love to be a law professor - the good ones always make someone cry.

I have come to loathe bill collectors, specifically law office bill collectors.

Several years ago my wife had a storage unit, we went to go clean it out when we moved to a new residence that would fit all of our mutual stuff. Only to find out that the lock had been cut on the door to the unit.

Seems they had break ins several times that year. The people were caught but they never let us know and did not check every unit for break ins.

Then my wife gets garnished for several bounced checks. Now we have this horrid credit and less money from her. Been going on for some time. We thought most of it was from medical bills ect.

No as it turns out it was from several bounced checks from the people who stole her shredded checks from an account that was closed years before.

Sent in paperwork from the police department when we found out and thought this was stopped over a year ago. No as it turns out they are re-garnishing her paycheck again, same company by the way. We now have to send them police reports they had already received to stop further garnishment and to maybe get the money back they previously took.

Not to mention all the calls which have started again, saying I have outstanding electric bills in Colorado, I do not, or that I owe thousands in unpaid student loans. I do not. In fact I repeatedly have them check the socials and find out it is not even identity theft but rather some other dude who just happens to have the same name as I.

Makes me want to break something.

Went thru a couple of these hassles before.

About 3 years ago a guy printed up bogus check with a similar name and address to mine. (He only changed the middle initial.) Got lots of call and letters and threats. Even one call early one morn where the biotch wanted me to give her my full license # and social security #. 'To confirm'. I think she was part of the ring. Didn't fall for that.

Then, last year, I get a garnishment notice from Payroll. Some guy with the same name. They were set to process it without even checking for a matching SSN. Still, it fell to me to sort it out with the collection agency before my company rescinded it. Was really tempted to complain to the Controller but decided to let it lie.

Sorry for your pain.

Wow, I can see that so clearly. He'd be laughing.

Are you sure that's shock? I think it's respect and enjoyment.

It's mostly shock...I'm the only programmer, a woman, who draws and cooks and openly admits to playing Dungeons and Dragons (I'm trying to recruit the Tax Accountant into one of our games at the moment too!). I get a lot of funny looks. :)

WICHITA — A child on a school outing at the Sedgwick County Zoo was mauled by a leopard this afternoon after climbing over a railing separating the leopard exhibit from the public.

Assistant zoo director Jim Marlett said the boy was on an outing with Linwood Elementary from Wichita. His age was not released.

Marlett said the boy climbed over a four-foot railing and approached the amur leopard enclosure in the Asian exhibit. The animal grabbed him around the head area with both paws and then tried to bite him.

Marlett said a woman on the zoo's tram saw what was happening. She jumped off the tram and spooked the leopard, which released the boy.

The boy suffered lacerations and puncture wounds to his head and neck. He was taken to Via Christi St. Francis campus in serious condition.

There were numerous school groups at the zoo today. The zoo remained open after the incident.

I men the wife cant get her until 5:30 so she sent stepson, who is stuck in rush hour. Ridiculous. I was there last patient, so they're all waiting on me to go home.

So HD says to Wolfthulhu to "get better soon!"
Sharoth "good luck and I hope you feel better soon too." I told him about the car accident.
Jess "I have your book, still." I think he means it may take some time to return it.
Silverhair "your psionic books are safe."

He also laments the fact that he was only able to catch the first episode of Game of Thrones

Not So Good Thing - I can't see Thor this weekend because I planned on using said Credit Card to pay for it.

~sighs~ Oh well.

Dude, it took me two hours to find you after you took off with the last of the Cabo AND the hot little senorita I had been flirting with. Not my fault you drank it and passed out on the beach. Oh, hey... did you ever get your wallet back?
