And then there is the inherent inconsistency of naming Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after Norse gods, naming Saturday after a Roman god, and translating the Latin names for Sunday and Monday into English (Sun and Moon instead of Solar and Lunar)... The days of the week are basically a mess.
