No one will kick you out of here. We're pretty welcoming, for the most part. I mean it's not like you were posting with a sock puppet in some desperate bid for attention.

But please don't bring trouble or arguments in here with you.

I can speak in THREE languages and I have moves like Jagger!!!1

But are you your own worst enemy?

Yes I am afraid you are. Some are not just beer snobs, but wine, alcohol in general as well as snobs of food like myself.

Now if someone is cooking or offering me something I am not a snob because that is rude. But I will not purchase those sorts of things and I am worse when it comes to food.

I am what I am. I make my own salad dressings because I don't like store made ones. A resturant is a place I go to for the experience of eating. So I avoid chain restaurants (for the most part) like the plague. There are a few exceptions like everything in life. More grey in my life then black and white.

I love to cook though and I find it cathardic. I always enjoy a drink and music while cooking. Whether it be wine, beer or cocktail.

While I don't consider myself one, I did get a beer snob t-shirt as a funny Christmas gift this year.

interesting. I was toying with the idea of coming up with a song called "I Got That Hate For Whedon " that would be performed to the tune of moves like Jagger. Hm.

Until neckbeard is recognized as an unspoken language, I'm resigned to the mastery of three languages.

My poor wording has confused you, my friend. I don't consider myself a beer snob. That's why the t-shirt was funny.

I am very much a beer lover.

Well, the morning meeting went horribly wrong when Albert finally lost it over people's continued use of the word "synergy", pulled out a stapler, and began attacking people. Meanwhile, John realized that his new assignment of cleaning out the lunch mess refrigerator must be punishment for the Fly Paper Incident. And, across town, the project site was suddenly inundated with a flock of rabid....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

Guess who's having a s@~*ty morning. Go ahead.

Poor little wood eatin' bastards never stood a chance.

On a side note that place was freaking huge, it took 300 gallons of Termidor to do the job. And that's at 4 gal. per 10 ft, per Regulatory. O.o

You know what I love? Pathfinder. You know what I want to play? Pathfinder. You know what I have never played? Pathfinder. You know what I have played? The "How badly can we f~&# each other over while pretending to be friends when in fact we really hate each other and are completely incapable of working together." Role Playing Game. In the past couple days, I've had 4 different characters die as a result of party betrayal, spent significant game time screaming profanity at my fellow gamers, spent more significant game time having profanity shouted back at me, and hatched numerous revenge plots. It's not so much as fun fantasy escapism as it is a "f!~& you all" bullying fest, and it's pretty much the whole of my RPG experience. I know I should stop playing. I really do. However, I like the idea of the game too much to do that, so I always march onto the battlefield with head held high and hope of a fun game in my head, despite knowing full well things are going to be emotionally excruciating. So, yea. It's a really s#~~ty morning.

*sigh* Thanks for listening to my rant.

Good Morning FaWtLys! I am excited. I found a new job that allows me to stay in the Houston area and it is a great opportunity. It's been a stressful few weeks, but now that it has been announced at work, I feel like a great load has been lifted off of me.

In the "it's a small world" category, I will now be working only 10 minutes from AZ's brother who is also a player in my Rise of the Runelord's campaign. Wolfthulhu plays in that game as well.

Since I have a lot of projects to wrap up, I gave my current employer about 4 weeks notice so I don't start my new job until February 6th. Grrr!

Congratulations!

I'm sorry, Kelsey. It's an ugly inevitably in this game of ours, that some people turn it into a one up /backstabbing session. Lord knows this happened with my old wod group. A break /vacation is best.

That's a lot of in-person game time over a short span of days. Are these roommates? Classmates? Second cousins? Illegal immigrants chained down in the basement? A psychotic fugue state?

I'd probably spend time doing something else.

Neighbors.

I probably should find something better to do. I like the idea of Pathfinder too much to do it. Eventually I'll just PBP my campaigns like I've been promising. Eventually.
