Took No Doz pills at work last night so I wouldn't fall asleep and instead I was up and down all day today. The pills are loaded with caffeine. This is what its like to feel wired.

I just turned two word problems from "kids getting off of school buses" to "clone troopers landing on Camino" and subtracting fruit to "jedi killed on Camino" and all of a sudden my son could do them.
OMG he is worse than Bleys my oldest son somebody help that poor child.
I laughed. I thought it was great.

Laughed out loud at that one. :)
Okay, more seriously, you were actually right about something (accidentally or otherwise) several pages back... ;)Yes, yes, I know you're often right about a lot of things, but isn't it nice when people actually say you are? :D

Just got alien nation on netflix yesterday. I forgot how amazing the series was. It's aged well, unlike friday the 13th the series.
the wife and I laughed at the hairstyles and fashion, but the acting was top notch. At least for the tv movie. Will watch actual episodes later.

I remembered really liking the show and that the producers and actors wanted to revisit the setting every few years or so. I wonder what became of that idea. I know they did a couple of TV movies after the series a few years apart but had heard nothing new on it for a long time.

Is there a movie/tv show that Sean Bean hasn't died in??
When Saturday Comes. He playes a pub footballer who gets a chance to play for Sheffield United (thanks to amateur-team coach Pete Postlethwaite) and in the last minutes of the film is allowed to come in off the bench and score two goals to knock Man United out of the League Cup.

I have no idea what shovels represent in dreams. I had lots of dreams that I could glide like a kite when I was a kid, though, which sounds like the riding a broom thing a little. Flying high would get scary in the dreams too...because I'd have to land, and if I got too high...ugh. I generally wasn't being chased by wild animals, though.
I used to have lots of dreams about my teeth and cracking into pieces or falling out of my mouth. Those dreams were not cool. ::shudders::
I also had a lot of dreams where I was a murderer or a suspected murderer and running from the police. The dreams were always about running from the police, not about the murder. ONce I woke up and panicked because I was at home and the cops were obviously going to catch me there. Took me a while to settle after that one.

Amon Amarth where very good
quite good tube video
funny thing:
when the lights went back on, the pa system played "I've been looking for freedom" and 1500 viking-death-metal fans instantly switched from headbanging, moshing and singing "Guardians of asgard" to dancing and singing along with the Hoff, proofing the terrible truth behind a certain prejudice about germans :-)
