I have daily sex. Sorry, sorry. I meant dyslexia.

This seems fitting.

Yesterday, my wife mowed the grass in her underwear. She said it was her "lawngerie".

I hate hipsters. With their smug faces, and their vegan diets, and their tiny feet, and their sawdust bedding... Wait. Not hipsters. Hamsters. I hate hamsters.

Depending on the cult, they might do it themselves.

*pokes Nobodyshome* You think captain Deputy here will like the ending?

I know, but they're based in Montana, think of the other 26 people who live there!

So, it's like every other video game ever made.

You should see the list of video games I've actually finished.

I bet I can fit the list on both hands.

I managed to finish a few games this year!

Ugh. Feeling bad. Probably just something passing, but you feel yourself getting ill, and emediataly get covid anxiety.

Let's see..

Phantasy Star
Final Fantasy 7
Legacy of Kain
Ocarina of Time
GoldenEye (yes, it had a main story)
GTA Vice City
Halo 3
Lego Indiana Jones
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Skyrim
Marvel Spider-Man.

I'm about half way through Maneater and Fallout 4, and a third of the way through Mass Effect Andromeda and Horizon Zero Dawn.

Remember last summer when I killed the big black widow my Mom's garage? (First poisoned and sprayed all the webbing with spider poison, then made a tiny flamethrower with a can of WD40 and a grill lighter, then when the body hit the concrete, stomped it).

This week, Eve found another black widow in the exact same spot in the garage.

I KNOW I killed the first one. I saw the body. I'm guessing I missed some egg sacs with my flamethrower.

Eve killed the second one in more or less the same way, but she said it felt slightly anticlimactic.

If this follows the Jaws series sequence, the next one will be 50% bigger, jump out at you in grainy 3D, and feature Dennis Quaid doing lines of coke in the garage.

The fourth one, a many-generations descendant of the first one, will travel all the way to Texas to kill me on Christmas Eve, and then my mother will have to ram it with her boat after an awkward encounter with Michael Caine, who only appears in this post for the pile of cash.

I haven't finished any of the games you listed.

The fact that I only played two of them (FF7 and Legacy of Kain, the very first one—Blood Omen), might have something to do with such poor results.

Well, I might have played Ocarina Of Time, not sure, though more likely it was the mask of something zelda.

And then captain yesterday will play a game very loosely inspired by that history, killing throngs of humans as an evergrowing mutated spider.

We currently have:

Mass Effect Andromeda
Overwatch (Tiny T-Rex)
Skyrim
Horizon Zero Dawn
Marvel Spider-Man
Fallout 4
Outer Worlds
Red Dead Redemption 2
Assassin's Creed Origins
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition (Crookshanks)
Stardew Valley (Crookshanks)
Star Wars Battlefront 2
GTA 5
Minecraft (Tiny T-Rex)
Maneater
Far Cry 5.

Yesterday I found a way to make Bloodstained playable by tinkering with quality settings (again, manually in the config file) and setting them to 80 (instead of the initial 100). The gfx is a bit blurry but together with reduced resolution works fast enough.

I also found a nice sword that is fast to use and can be used while moving (unlike most weapons) that mellowed my attitude.

I still think that use of pseudo 3d graphics was a big mistake (gods, the tower's exterior... urgh).

Also, the flow of story is unimpressive. A lot of "guess where you should go because there is little reason for you to do exactly that to proceed", sadly. Sometimes you get hints but at other times not really.

Spoiler:
Who guessed without googling to go to Orlock for the ID? I hadn't seen anything that would suggest that course of action?

What's worse, getting the photo looked like a side-quest, not a main quest.

Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC?

I don't think that my laptop will be able to pull it off anyway.

This morning, my brain decided to mash up "If you wanna be my lover" with the "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" theme song.

Now I can't mentally untangle them, and I can't unsee the Spice Girls as the ponies, and as I never *deliberately* listened to or paid attention to them, I don't know them well enough to know which one ought to be which. Except I have the vague sense that Posh = Rarity.

All I really really want at this point is to know which pony ought to be sporting the Union Jack minidress.

"Stories of robomonkeys having access to hidden stashes of explosives are certainly mere rumors, with no basis in reality whatsoever. There is nothing to worry about it.

A robomonkey may be selected as an improved familiar (caster level 5)."

I need one.

I watched Homunculus #1 play it through, I'd love to as well. Such a beautiful game.

That's why I am sitting at night.

Speaking of finished games.

Technically, I finished Bloodstained getting an ending already...

I run up the stairs and run into a chamber. I saw a boss-fight doors. Not a problem, I thought. I am supposed to be in this part of castle already so it shouldn't be that bad.

Oh, hi big bad! I didn't expected you here. Are we fighting or merely talking? Fightining? Ah, well, let's have at it before you (or the plot) inevitably break the fight and we'll have another round later.

<fight-fight-ouch-fight>

O.o

<ending sequence>

No build up, no warning it is a game-ending fight... Just that.

There is still half the castle to discover and getting better endings requires taking more steps, whatever they would be.

I found an ATV, just sitting there. I got on the ATV. And was immediately gunned down by the group of d#%~~eads just waiting for someone to get on the ATV.

So, it's going to be like that.

It is too quiet in here! Entertain me peasants!

J/K!

I'm confused. Do you want us to entertain you, or your peasants? Because it should either be "Entertain me, peasants!" or "Entertain my peasants!".

Hello, everyone.

It was rather noisy in my neighborhood Saturday night. Good thing I learned how to sleep around the noise of artillery going off.

You had artillery going off in your neighborhood? Wow, Pittsburgh is rougher than I thought.

I am shell shocked to hear that.
