I'm just sleepy 'cause the kids were playing Civ until the wee hours and yelling at each other across the house. I swear, when the police knock on my door at 3:00 am, I'll know why.
But I haven't been outside except on our walk, and everyone there was quite personable.
Of course, it's only 68°F here. I think that might have something to do with us not being so pissy.

Lost our car cause we couldn't keep the payments up. It'll save us monthly, and the county has a decent bus system, but it still really really sucks.

It just seems wherever I turn someone wants to argue minute discrepancies or whatever, like everyone is ready for a fight.
I can't seem to be able to say anything to anyone without someone finding something to correct. With no middle ground, because god forbid both people can be right at the same time.
Except the boss, who was in a super good mood this morning (which is pretty typical).

The next person that starts a sentence with "Actually.." will get an angry jig and exasperated scream as I retreat to the woods to knock down some invasive trees and underbrush.

I will instead share that when looking up the happiest cities in America, I found your home of Madison, WI, to be in the top five.

I like the Shadowrun setting but I have yet to experience anything approximating fun while playing it.

Come up here. We wear masks at all stores and venues and in most public places. Bars are kinda iffy, but most people just openly avoid them.
