If I want a quail I just hunker down in a field and wait.

Of course, nothing flushes out a quail like unrepentant nudity.

We don't have wild quail here. Besides it would be an offense to kill quail.

All you need in Wisconsin is a hound dog, a 22, some beer and the will to make it happen.

so the race was this morning. You know the friends who said she would run with me to support me? Well she had a leg injury less than a mile in so we ended up walking a lot of the way. She told me to go on and run ahead of her but I didn't feel right about it. It's not like I was going to place anyway. And we still had a lot of fun.

My character for Dawn of Flames.

Buttercup, Space Pirate Skittermander Solarian.

The General is making a Nuar (cow people) named Daisy, class and theme TBD.

Tiny T-Rex has a Vesk mechanic named Geko (he's 8 and loves lizards, so)

Now I just have to get Crookshanks and the General to make characters...

PLEASE tell me the character is a milkmaid. Or a MERCENARY milkmaid!

Got back last night with Ms. British, it was a nice holiday.

Our luggage packed with stuff to do we apparently forgot, so all we had when we got there was one old, creased copy of The Return To The Temple of Elemental Evil.

With nothing else to do there... ** spoiler omitted **

Awesome!

Day Two of Super Removals Limey Timey; we started at 8:40, and I left the new office at 19:30. Bah.

On the plus side, there was a stall selling records next to the bus stop this morning which sold me a copy of 'Moonflower' by Santana, which I have previously only had on a knackered old cassette, and I got to take home a FREE COPPER PIPE FROM WORK, so I am about as happy as a man, with a pipe, could be at present.

The busy morning-early afternoon is winding down. Crookshanks had fun at cheerleading practice, Tiny T-Rex had fun at his friend's birthday party and the s++*load of pancakes the General decided to make are made and she is napping in the sun in the backyard.

So nu puking since wednesday. But since Im eating again, its very noticable the... underside... of things are still in a rebellious state.

This is why we keep comics in the bathroom.

My family liked the Date loaf cake that I added chocolate chips to. Since our baking pan is broader, I think next time I'll cut the date soaking bicarbonate of soda to 1 tsp(I think there was a faint taste of bicarbonate of soda in the cake) and lower baking temperature to 160 celcius and bake for 25 min.

It's the fun that matters. If it helps, LM, if I were in texas, I would run with you, though the low humidity might kill me =P

And yeah...my pacer told me to run without her because she had a late night drinking. I did, but without someone to keep pace to, I ambled along so slowly she caught up with me and told me to move my lazy arse along. So I did the last sprint to the finish (yes it was a bit longer distance then I usually do, but I did have it in me). Then complained at the finish line that I couldn't run without her. Because being left to my own devices I'll amble along even if I have the energy to go at faster speeds. For beating timings I need to be chasing someone slightly faster then I would go - my competitiveness will make me rise up to the challenge and I'll match the person's pace. (Assuming it's a good day and I'm not getting stitches etc)

I can readily pace myself for the long haul(like >5km) though.

LM - what kind of leg injury did your friend get? I mean for me it was blisters on my paws, which was easily remedied (for the next run) by getting moisture wicking socks. I know some runners so I could probably get out of them the remedies for running injuries.

Unfortunately they haven't found a cure for my stitches yet, the best I've managed is not to eat too much before a run (or start eating earlier) and don't start out too fast.

Just discovered the bike store I got my bike from no longer exists. Likely hit when the cops attacked all electric bike shops in the city.

F+@*. Really pissed right now.

Apparently, regular Harry Potter movies are a thing now.

I knew I shouldn't have bought those!

No worries, I'm "working" in the office/pantry/laundry room.

Why did the fuzz attack all the bike shops?

I think I do bouldering better then rock climbing. Rock climbing walls were kinda full today. What looked like a simple route was an epic fail for me. I did get (on the easier side) half way from one side of the bouldering wall to the other.

My flexibility su*ks lol, but I suppose I do have some str to muscle through things. I don't think I'm very good at gripping handholds yet though.

Need to do them stretches Mort all that weight lifting will hinder your flexibility even more if you don't.

Also: I think your suppose to stretch after the work out not before.

The Exchange

But...but...I yoga once per week! That's about as much stretching as I get unless you count cool down and warm up in classes.

You know theres this tendency to ignore your weak points by not looking at them...

Huh I would think the yoga would be enough to get you all flex.

Why that no work?

I'm naturally inflexible. It's the family curse. Without yoga I can't even bend forward and touch my toes(without bending knees). With yoga it's a sometimes thing. I can do binding on one side but not the other, but I tree pose fairly happily. Just don't ask me to close my eyes while I'm doing it because I need to focus on a single stationary point.

Doesn't sound like you're doing that bad.

A 170g date? That's a pretty small person to be dating. And you probably shouldn't be chopping them up.

I took my wife out for dinner the other night. When I ordered a rare steak, she said "You sure do like meat, don't you Murderer?" I replied "For god's sake! It's been 20 years! Can't you let go of the fact that I shot your father?"

What should you do if you are being endlessly chased by lions, tigers, elephants, and horses? Get your drunk ass off the carousel.

I was thinking of emigrating to Australia, so I went to their embassy to see what it would take to get citizenship. They asked me "Do you have a criminal record?" I said "No, I didn't realize that was still a requirement."

And now, here's my gripe for the day:

People, it's spelled SCHOOL not SCHOOL. Stop putting the second O in front of the first one!

That might work for me I like it when a playlist has a stark transition so I don't just ignore it.

In actuality, I like the Cranberries (at least, some of their stuff), have never heard of the Peanuts, and hate Eminem.

Well, really, only hipsters have records anymore. I keep all my criminal activities in the cloud. You might be surprised how much storage there is in a cumulonimbus.
