He mentioned a girlfriend, though you might missed it among the banter between him and gran about gran's countless ex-wives...

Very well, I accept your decision.

Might get quite a chock if you visit Europe outside any of the usual turist destinations.

Then again I could give the quite convoluted explanation as to why the only Caucasians around = not very diverse, leaves a portion of us Europeans scratching our heads.

Congrats Vid!

Yeah I know where you're coming from, considering the kitty cat that only drinks sweet wines.

SO DRUNK YOU GUYS

If I liked alcohol, I'd be jealous.

*sigh* I miss weed. I really wish I had a source up here.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet
But of the flowers I wouldst eat
Oh cannabis I miss you how
And sobriety doth taunt me now
For night or day I shall not lie
I truly wish that I were high
And maybe if I had my bud
Then words would flow like gushing blood
From veins cut fresh with scalpel true
And not than this awful poem I gave to you

Thanks everyone.

One thing I like about Japan is you can carry your portable wifi around. I don't think US has that equivalent.

I think many phones can provide wifi for your computer/tablet. It uses your data allowance, though. Of course, I don't have a smartphone, so I'm not really sure.

That sounds right Gran.

I'm curious as to how I'm suddenly on the email list for this one politician, they even seem to have my full name, since I've never signed up for anything for any politician. Thankfully my spam filter is catching about 90% of it, but since they have sent me several dozen in the last week, I'm still seeing a few of them in my inbox.

And Vid, didn't you think it was important to have for fiancee vetted by us? Surely you can't expect us to sign off on this wedding without having a chance to test her? My god, man, don't make the same mistakes I made with Tammy, Tammy, and Tammy! Or was it Tammy? Maybe it was Tammy?

Speaking of Tammy when are you going to introduce us to Tammy?

Also does Tammy know about Tammy??

I don't think I need to introduce you to Tammy. We aren't together anymore.

Or did you mean Tammy? Because I can't talk to her due to the restraining order I have out against her.

And some of the Tammys know about some of the other Tammys. Hell, two of them are cousins.

Are you sure your not from Alabama Gran?

Not from there, but I may have spent some time near Huntsville.

Ah ok.

Of course, those two Tammys were from Oregon. And I met them while in Maine.

My breakfast area is currently full of drunks. I am going to go hide out in the back office till they all go away. So annoying.

We went to a friend's Bday party, and Mrs Sunrise got more than a little tipsy on apple whiskey.

I took a sip, and I still don't know how people drink alcohol straight. Bloody awful-tasting stuff.

Thankfully, and somewhat surprisingly, mine is currently empty.

Lucky

There's still time. It's only 1:30 here. The drunk f$#+tards may not have left the bars yet. On the other hand, the football game was kind of early today (I think kickoff was at 12:30 or 1), so maybe they were all kicked out long ago and are now passed out peacefully in their rooms.

These guys are going strong. Especially the loud one. I'm waiting for someone to call and complain so I have a good excuse to kick half of these people out of here (no refund) But I guess they must have most of the rooms in the hotel.

No chance you could just tell them that you've had a complaint and inform them that they must quiet down or you'll have to toss them?

I've been thinking on it back and forth. I'd rather have a name and room number I could reference when I tell my manager why I kicked out 5 or so people.

I was mostly thinking that the warning might quiet them down so you don't actually get the complaint. It's worked for me before. Yeah, an actual complaint is nice for justifying it to your manager.

Eh it escalates and I only threaten when I'm prepared to follow through.

Its a lot of paper work. :P

I think tonight I'll do some sort of pan fried fish (depending on what I find at the store) and parm encrusted asparagus.

You just gotta go hang out at the university or close by it and and either ask around or find someone working in a music store or head shop and ask them.

Typically, most people pour it into a small glass (called a 'shot glass') and then transfer it to your mouth via a swift arm motion thus ensuring a quick journey down the ole throatymajig.

I wonder how long till that stuff is legal everywhere. Its one of the few things that both red necks and hippies both like. Also its better for you then alcohol by like 10 fold yet alcohol is legal and its not.

Because I hated beer so much, in my partying days I was well known for my ability to slam whatever hard liquor was on hand.

Admittedly, I have my near total lack of sense of taste to thank for that.

The Exchange

Yeah I usually have my alcohols mixed but I can drink half a shot of whiskey neat. Practice with the herbal liquors.
