Ok this is funny...I made myself a mecha'thun deck, and the opponent, a warrior using Doctor Boom, conceded, when I got my deck fatigued.

Why I did it..? FOR SCIENCE!

I had 27 hp, 18 armor. My opponent had 29 hp, 40+ armor. But again I wasn't the least concerned since...yeah the Mecha'thun was in my hand and I was just wearing my hand down to fulfill the win condition.

I strongly believe that he knew what was coming...

I've only been mecahthun once so far but it was pretty traumatic.

Yes like knock my cloths off traumatic.

Its probably going to be the next card I try to make with dust. I didn't get lucky enough to get it out of a pack. my rare was the hunter one that makes the 4 0/2 bombs.

The only cards I like out of this set are the magnetic ones really.

Ugh I already miss being automatically sold out on Saturdays.

Why do you miss being sold out? Wouldn't less people mean easier work, since more people mean more Jerks?

You can come grab some (all) of my guests. I'm sold out (well, technically I have 4 rooms left but they weren't cleaned today for some reason so I can't sell them) and hate it.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I guess the one good thing about being sold out is that you don't really have to deal with people looking for a room. Tell them "Sold Out" and usually they just leave. Unless they want to argue for some reason, or expect me to find them a room elsewhere.

It has its ups and downs. The major problem is our company does a country wide reset of their servers on Saturday nights. While its doing that I have to handle all reservations and check ins without use of our front desk sysyem so Pen and paper and I have no way of verifying people's credit cards so we have to take it on faith. If I'm sold out I don't have to worry about that just to occasional person who can't read or a phone call.

Just to clarify on the pen and paper its not so bad mostly it takes longer so if I get a few guests at once it suck but also some people are really weird about it and think i'm trying to steal their information or something even though If I wanted to steal their information its right here in front of me anyways.

Sometimes I will help them find another hotel but only if I feel pressed or sorry for them.

Yeah I hate when housekeeping doesn't get to all of the rooms.

When you think of the song "The Piano Man" by Billy Joel, you probably think of the harmonica, not the piano.

We have no idea how far positive or negative numbers can go, but we do know that 0 is right in the middle.

It actually gets kind of weird if you think about it too much. Like 0 is an absence of anything right? so Is it actually a number or a lack of numbers? and then what if you tried to divide by ze..........00sdfq4w809qtvy9 rtca9uhfo;h fAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *poof!*

Melatonin is kind of weird how it works. Its effect can vary greatly even taking the same amount etc. I think I remember the theory is their is another chemical it is reacting with and it can give varied results.

I've found that melatonin creates a 'wave' of drowsiness, and I need to be in bed with the lights off when the wave comes. If I'm up and doing things when the wave hits, my brain will simply power thru it, and I'll stay awake. Drowsy, but awake.

The speed at which the wave comes also depends on absorption: a lot of people with my condition (cystic fibrosis) absorb things very slowly, and so might wait hours to get drowsy.

Yellow and the Homunculi just saw the Fellowship for the first time.

They were recognizing LotR memes all the way thru, and Yellow is now 'shipping Sam and Frodo.

"My brother, my captain, my king" still gets to me.

Also "I made a promise, Mr. Frodo..."

No, for me it either works or it doesn't. It does take about an hour for me to get drowsy tho.

Well I guess getting vitamin D is pretty important for us third shift people since we have less opportunity to absorb it form the sun so since its a life or death matter we can let it pass.
