OMG. I assumed that a Thot was some kind of in-game monster, like a lizardlich cleric or something, and he was just a Standard Teenage Dumbass.

Edit: a naked lizardlich cleric, evidently.

(Puts on standard issue floozy "armor".)

Going Nuclear Political on Thots:

While we have made great strides in racial awareness (and have much, MUCH farther to go), it's still perfectly acceptable to dismiss or disparage women and (almost) no one bats an eye. "Bros before hos", "thot", and so forth, even down to "guys' night out". (I always liked to respond to such invitations with, "Well, if you didn't want to hang out with your wife, then why did you marry her?")

Even Impus Major was trying to defend the guy by saying, "It's just a harmless meme that's going around."

NobodysWife promptly replaced "women" with "black people" and "thots" with the n-word.

Impus Major suddenly got it, and started apologizing profusely, and I doubt he'll ever use the term again.

But constantly having to tell people, "No, I will not tolerate you casually dismissing women as worthless less-than-men," gets tiresome and depressing.

That’s a cheesy hack item that should have given me a will save to negate the Mort Proof Effect. If it means that it works like repulsion(since it gives a will save)
And why is Ddooring into the cage not allowed again? I should have a chance to get those snacks!

now I want a video game called Mort Proof Effect. A sci fi 3rd person shooter epic with talking lawful cats.

No wait, we already have skyrim.

I love the company I work for, I really do.

But this is the worst erosion control blanket I've ever had to work with.

Without question. Is my sister tactless and tasteless? Frequently.

She has this obsession with calling out my mother's family's WASP insularity... they eat nothing with any kind of seasoning or spice (or flavor, to be honest) other than salt and pepper, won't try anything outside of their narrow little box, won't explore anything the rest of the world has to offer, and turn up their noses at the suggestion that it might actually be good.

Does she say so non-offensively? Of course not. She's my sister.

Reminds me of my family, especially my mom who will stick pretty much to nothing but Chinese food. I think it's one of the things the older generation get(sorry if I'm insulting anyone). My Aunt is happy eating Japanese food and my Dad can be quite happy eating steaks, but too long of western cuisine(like what happened in Italy), and they'll have to find whatever passes for Chinese food in the country and eat it.

I probably have mentioned it before, but the only time I suffered from that was when I was in UK on a school trip. The salmon was over baked and dry, and they kept giving me fried fish and chips. I did try them with mash peas, and I'll say the taste is pretty unique.

Mushy peas, oh yes.

Did you have hot pie & peas?

Now I'm hungry for Sheppard's pie
Please don't eat Sheppard's pie. He saved the universe (multiple?) times, and then you just go and eat his pie. You prick.

No, no, its a pie made from the commander. Its an old Krogan recipe.

Its his favorite pie on the citadel.

Yesterday I GMed for a first time in a very long time...

Players seemed to enjoy the game.

Criminal Scene Investigations Of Rokugan - The Second City.

Aka Legend Of Five Rings, 4th edition, crime procedural style.

One greedy Yoritomo courtier and one ill-mannered Tsuruchi bounty hunter.

The first case: a wealthy samurai Akodo Genki was murdered in his house.

The funniest sight in the world is my daughter shoveling horse crap with a manure rake bigger than she is. She needs a stepladder to groom him.

Dung shovelin' - a surprisingly large part of your day when working with horses ^^'

Your daughter's a teensy little girl or just not that old yet?
(Heck, your mother could have large draft horses for all I know :P)

And stepladders are a must at a stable. How else would I get my fat ass up on a (170cm) 5'6 horse ^^

I love draft horses!

Arg, I know how you feel. Good luck.
Woran. You weren't here last year, when I was diagnosed with a Pituitary tumor. When I say "one of those headaches," I mean a tumor headache behind my right eye. If the air pressure drops low enough, the headache feels like a white-hot ice pick being driven behind my eye. The worst ones are completely debilitating, often making me want to curl up in a corner and almost wish for death. Non-prescription pain medicines don't work. But the headaches pass in a few hours, leaving me extremely tired. Oh, and I won't take narcotic pain meds for this, since I don't want to be an addict. For what it's worth.

I'm sorry to hear that. I thought you had a migraine triggered by the pressure change. I have those sometimes. Puking included.

Thanks. It may as well be a migraine, as much as it hurts.

All caught up. Was passing the time because I should be going to bed but its too warm and I'd just end up tossing and turning.
But its starting to get hard to form coherent sentences. Or at least, harder then normal.
Also, my right eye is starting to bug out. So time for bed.

How I helped saved my mother's sanity over vacation:
My 95-year-old grandmother, rather than giving her laundry to my mom, has taken to hiding it and spraying it relentlessly with Febreeze until it's more or less good for nothing but the garbage.
My mother will buy her new tops, but there's always something wrong with them (because her daughter chose them), so she won't wear them.
So today I showed my mother some specialty fusty-old-lady-clothing websites (those eight years I spent working in long-term-care administration was good for something after all) and picked out five new shirts for her to wear that she will probably wear because I picked them for her. (Granddaughter privileges.)

I am not sure if I should do this because I love the Spider or because I hate the Phoenix.

Goes the reverse, too. Men have as much right to not have one. I see it way too often where virginity is seen as making someone less of a man.

People need to stop shaming/lecturing about what consenting adults do or do not do with their nethers on their own time. Some people like sex, great for them. Some people aren't interested/ready, great for them.
