DIE!!!

Seriously though, Sharoth. The next time you come back to the 'Burgh, let me know. I'd like to shake your hand and say hello. It's the least I can do for you getting me through that puzzle in Skyrim.

I will be more than happy to do so. My guess is that SOMETIME in the next 5 years or so I should be up there again.

YOU'RE Absolutely RIGHT!

You can't burn children!

They need to be cooked carefully to preserve the flavor!

The Exchange

Whhaaaatt?! I have nieces and nephews!

Great! That means you have an emergency food source.

I think that was what paladins were meant to be all along. People keep focusing on paladin codes, but the most important is to do Good.

Prejudice is an ugly, ugly thing. But it seems most APs encourage you to Murderhobo everything. Not to mention most players aren't used to deal with grey moralities and see things in black and white.

Also takes a very patient player to try to redeem things... And the GM to be online with it. It takes 2 hands to clap, afterall.

I like fighting fantasy - the diamond key because of the theme of redemption and how we struggle each day to do the right thing. The expedient way is easy, doing what is right, no matter how hard, is a totally different matter.

You know, if Nobody's home were here, he'd smite you as a paladin of Erastil?

Family values, people. Family.

*sighs* I ish not pally and has no smite.

Hey, it ensures everything will stay within family!

The Exchange

That doesn't mean you eat your family!

reminds me of the time I convinced my friends son I was going to eat him up. He was frightened in a way that only enhanced his clear deliciousness. He hugged me and said "PLEASE don't eat me! I love you!"

I can think of few better ways to preserve a family than through careful pickling.

How do I keep warm when it's -8 outside?

A bed full of Beagles.

I don't think he qualifies as a paladin of Erastil. They tend to frown on family cannibalism.

The Exchange

I'm saying you, Nobody's home, as a paladin of Erastil would smite Drejk for suggesting eating family!

I don't eat family!

The Exchange

Maybe one of these days I should try teach goblins how to bake. But again I've never been any good at the people thing...

Besides that can also cause RP conflict if the party wants to Murderhobo.

It's cold out. I'm still ill. And of course, because one of the guys is needing to work with Microsoft's support team, they asked me to be in the office today. Regardless of the fact that the bathroom is so very, very far away. They will regret this decision.

The Exchange

You couldn't do the support via VPN tunnel or something? =(

Guys. Guys.

My twitch channel over at tqwgaming just hit affiliate status.

I'm feeling really proud today so YEAH, this is a good day.

Just a Mort wrote:

I did that yesterday, but today they think I need to be in the office for reasons beyond my understanding.

Possibly - I haven't seen it myself, but I hardly ever watch TV. It was ' The Sound Of Music' and horse-racing in the olden days, but I imagine things have improved since then.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Pittsburgh had some really bad blizzards several years ago. Hope we don't get anything like that this year.

If anyone wondered...

(a) how does uncombed Drejk looks like
(b) how does word Koschei is pronounced
(c) how does Drejk sounds

Here is Drejk pronuncing Koschei for Mairkurion's research.

Maybe I should record a few more of those and link them on blog?

We've tried to start a few random family Boxing Day traditions over the years, but they haven't lasted. The two best were

(for thematic value) buying boxer shorts for Whingey Wizzard at the after-Christmas sales (but I hate shopping, so it was tedious)
and
(for random fun) taking pictures with bad public art... gigantic meaningless pieces of sculpture in parks, etc. But no boxes were involved.
Maybe if we brought some boxes with us it would be worth repeating?

I have 37 days to come up with roughly 150 more posts in order to hit 1000 posts on my 1-year anniversary of Paizo citizenhood/denizenship.

If I'm not wrong, it means it's also 37 days until Lynora's birthday, and Limey is still waiting on his knitted pants.

Also, I FINALLY figured out the "dot" thing today.
I've been too embarrassed to ask.

On Christmas Eve, it finally dawned on me that Boris Badenov from Rocky & Bullwinkle was a play on Boris Godunov, and I felt rather dense.

Take pictures of yourselves in front of the monuments with boxes on your heads. Draw faces on the boxes if you want.

That's what I'd have done, had I thought of it in time.

I'm exactly at 7500, so I should wait until I have something deep and meaningful to say to post #7501.

I found this quiz while working on a puzzle in Microsoft Puzzle. I got 42 of 50 correct, and the quiz results gave me a Masters-equivalent score. Not bad for someone who only graduated from High School.

Just went through it and got a 41 of 50.

Personal disappointment question: Couldn't for the love of God link that day to the assassination MLK(J).

Personal pat on the back question: Which artists worked when...

Personal gripe question: The number of insect species...
