Well, yeah, buying clothes that fit is just great, but when you're narrowing your selection, you can't be a stickler, and you did say it was hard to find in second-hand shops. TOZ makes a good point, though - if your belt doesn't fit, that's a serious problem that can only be solved by something as difficult as poking more holes into the belt until it can be tightened even more.

I'm a classy m@#!##+@~%~+ when it comes to clothes.

Also,

Thing 3: If you care

At this point, I'm probably annoying people more than anything, I bet!

Now my standard operating procedure when it comes to clothes:

If it ain't falling apart, there's no need to get new ones.

Which brings me to the point of shoes. I like to walk around during lunch time. And I have the same operating policy when it comes to shoes as to clothes. So during one of my famous long walks, my shoes actually fell apart on me! I had to hobble back to office and beg for a pair of slippers to tide me the day.

I don't buy clothes online as they may not fit. I don't have a mainstream body size as I've said before.

Theres a custom here that says every year you need to get new clothes. That's a sensible custom, or I'd never buy new clothes at all...usually someone has to drag me shopping.

Welp. Time to start prepping a new campaign to rotate into our weekly sessions. Iron Gods, here we go.

I got myself a new pair of boots today. That was tedious, as apparently shoemakers decided that everyone is elf a few years ago, and the shoes that are long enough to fit me (42-43 EU, or... 9.5 US men) are definitely too narrow for me.

Also, WTF is with US shoe sizes?! Separate values for men, women, girls, and boys?

Of course, EU sizing has its amount of ridiculous things too... *sigh*

We'll see how will the boots I bought work out it in a few weeks.

I'm wandering here in a boring room,
It's just another mundane Monday morning,
I'm lounging around,
Got nothing to do (no PBPs to sign up for)
I'm waiting for you (more recruitment threads)
But nothing ever happens, and I wonder.

Oh yeah!

I can't believe I just did this...

Let's see if we can fangle the rest... Hmm is better then I am at this...

I'm reading threads on my phone
I'm browsing too fast
I'm browsing too far
I'd like to change my point of view
I feel so lonely
I'm waiting for you (more recruitment threads)
But nothing ever happens and I wonder

I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout recruitment threads all around
And all that I can see is just are just games that are full already.
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning turning turning turning turning around
And all that I can see is oversubscribed threads.

I'm sitting here
I miss adventuring
I'd like to go out taking a shower
But there's a heavy cloud inside my head
I feel so tired
Put myself into bed
While nothing ever happens and I wonder

Isolation is not good for me
Isolation I don't want to find no threads to be.

I'm browsing around in the recruitment threads
Baby anyhow I'll get another toy
And everything will happen and you wonder

Ok, that was WTF.Lol.

But on a more serious note I'm not interested in PFS games and this is definitely the wrong place to look for PBP games heh.

Beats me, I'd rather not play then PbP.

Not that there's anything wrong with it per se, just not for me.

I actually prefer PBPs due to scheduling issues in RL, besides I get tongue tied at a table. I'm shy and not spontaneous lol.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure something will catch my attention eventually. It's just a phase as a PBP gamer.

I don't mind APs and PFS mods run on paizo only material, without PFS restrictions.

I've lost enough weight with TKD that at times I'm having serious problems keeping my pants on, unless I use a hand to secure them. And none of my belts goes small enough to help. I know that I'll need to go shopping for clothes, soon, but I feel physically lethargic and moderately distressed at the idea: I am not a clothes horse or a shopping horse of any kind unless it's books [including comics], films, games, shows or certain toys (mostly action figures and LEGOs, though I haven't felt an interest in searching those in years) and even with those my attention wanes and I get antsy within a relatively short timespan. I have gotten used to shopping at Publix or similar and Pharmecies without real distress because I'm the stay at home and it's my job, but daggum do I hate to shop in general. If I had my way things of relatively accurate size (preferably my actual size or a bit larger) would just kind of show up at fairly regular intervals. Fortunately, since I don't publish Chirstmas or similar lists, for most of my adult life that's more or less exactly what happens (with shoes handled by periodic hand-me-downs from my Dad). Yes I am basically the luckiest ever, thanks.

... but daggum pants (and underwear, though since they're usually packed it's not a big deal)... dang it. I need to shop for those on my own. It suuuuuuuuuuucks.

(Online doesn't really help, much. It's a thing with me.)

Hey, whoever is up:
I just got a text from a coworker and good friend. Her husband has been on the transplant wait list for some time and they just got a call to come to the hospital; he's getting his new heart at 3:00 a.m., Pacific Time. Anyone who feels inclined to say a prayer, think a good thought, whatever works for you, please send one Ken's way.
I'd be grateful.

I just found out the Salvation Army by my house has $1 for any clothes on Tuesdays, and I'm really REALLY looking forward to increasing my "black t-shirt and jeans" collection so I can throw out literally everything I own that isn't that (except for interview clothes).

Seriously. Ever see Ernest Goes to Jail, when he opens his closet, and it's like 40 of the exact same outfit? I want that. I want that so much. V-neck black T-shirts, jeans, and black boat shoes so I don't have to wear socks, but they're more mobile than flip-flops.

Be careful what you wish for. My father had a closet full of "winter suits" (olive green) and "summer suits" (khaki). They were so hideous that everyone just assumed he never changed his clothes, and considered it a wonder that he didn't smell something awful. I still remember the first time NobodysWife looked into his closet and said, "Oh, my, GOD he owns more than one of each kind!"

One of Shiro's friends had a full heart/lung transplant a few months ago. Shiro was terrified for him. A couple of weeks ago we got a call that he's actually out and about again. Modern medical science is truly a wondrous thing on occasion. Heart transplants is one of those miracles: If you can get a donor, you can do quite well.

I'd do blood donations but for some reason my iron count is too low and I keep getting rejected. It's a about 3 times already.

I'm also currently on flu meds so it means no trying for a week.

Down here the system is u need to opt out for your organs not to be used after you die. Which I think is a great idea. If you're dead, you aren't using those organs anymore, so why not give someone another lease of life?
